More delicious than a steakhouse at a casino in the middle of the woods in Catskills NY has a right to be. We sat at the bar... because tables were all full on a Thursday evening in July. That was a good sign. I ordered 2 appetizers as my meal as I do(warm beet salad and tuna tartare) and my husband had the grilled salmon. Everything was great, we kept eating off each other'splates. The bartenders were super friendly, had perfect cocktail recommendations and we met some nice people having drinks whilewaiting for their table. All in all a great evening. Would make the trip again (we stay 15 minutes away at Kauneonga Lake). Read more

From drinks to sides to steaks. 100/10. Best expresso martini(not sweet), lemon drop martini, and TOMAHAWK STEAK we have ever... eaten. My family was celebrating my niece?s graduation from college. We had reservations for 7 people. Some of us were 15 minutes late,... but the party was graciously seated anyway. The restaurant was spacious and had a classy muted decor. Our server Miranda, waspolite, friendly, and very efficient. She made excellent wine suggestions and menu options. She knew wines and the how the menuitems were prepared. She was never far when we needed something. The other wait staff were also polite and efficient whenbringing and removing our dishes. We loved the breads and their accompanying condiments. Miranda made sure our bread basketswere replenished! Our food choices were delicious if not small in portion. The Porterhouse for Two had by my brother andsister-in-law, they claimed was perfectly prepared, but one of the smaller cuts they?d ever had! It was barely enough for twosteak-loving people! My niece had a pasta dish that was also an unusually small serving. She loved it, however! My skirt steakwas perfectly charred on the outside (a la Pittsburgh) and rare on the inside. The flavor and appearance of all of our foodchoices was excellent! Our desserts were also wonderful! The lit up desserts to commemorate ?the graduate? was a special touchthat was much appreciated! I liked everything about the atmosphere and service. I enjoyed my meal and especially the drink Moscato. The only complaint I... have is my partner ordered his steak well done and the chef made it medium rear. Besides that the meals were delicious and ourwaitress was polite and attentive. Read more
5 Stars All The Way! Aside from the wonderful ambiance, we were greeted and seated by a lovely gentleman named Zach. Our waiter... Tim gave us excellent service while recommending a delicious wine called Montepulciano by La fiera (posted photo of bottle) . Weordered Pasta Pomo Doro upon Zach?s recommendation and we?re outrageously pleased . Aside from the pasta we order the loadedbaked potato and the grilled Octopus. How can I even describe the two besides out of this world . I must say I have not hadoctopus like that in any restaurant in the loaded the loaded baked potato was outrageously delicious! Food was good Server was okay Service was good (food runners & hostess) Server never told us the specials (overheard them after... we ordered from another server) and seemed to be rushing our dining experience. Only asked if we were ready to order and didn?tcheck on us very often only to see if we wanted to order more. Not the type of service I experienced from fine dining. Staff whodelivered bread, dinner & dessert were helpful and pleasant. Don?t even know servers name just long hair with tattoos.Celebrating honeymoon and food was good, not amazing. Lobster pasta- pasta was hot, lobster cool to touch. For the bread spreadliked the Parmesan one the most. Would go back again if in the area, but drove over one hour from Mt. Tremper and wouldn?t dothat again. Calamari was good and so was the ribeye. Corn side better than asparagus side. Read more
