I went through the drive through (so no comment on the atmosphere). The rice and the "sauce" were pretty dang good. The girl... that took our order was very kind and our order was done quickly/correctly. The meat wasn't very good. My oldest is less pickythan I am, and said the meat tasted gross. That's just our experience with it though. Read more

The food was really good. We got the 4 person meal and got about 6 meals out of it with leftovers. It will depend of how big... your appetite is. They provided us some paper plates and serving spoons which was a nice addition. We will definitely come backand eat here when in the area again. Read more

Dry meat, I had to take a bite of food, drink of pop, bite of food, drink of pop. The macaroni salad tastes like plain elbow... noodles with milk poured over it. The pineapple desert thing is just a fried dry biscuit, the pics make it look tasty. Read more

Not sure what Mrs. Polynesian was talking about. But I've had Hawaiian food all over the country. And this food is right on... par. Very generous servings, great flavor. And I put soy sauce on my own rice lol. The Mac and cheese is great too! We wentwith the family if 4 combo no complaints. Nice surprise in a small city! Read more

Best find in Montpelier! I stopped at Maverick for gas and asked the guy at the pump next to me if he knew any good places to... eat. He said "why yes I do, I started my own Hawaiian restaurant this summer just down the street." Of course I was skeptical,it is *HIS* restaurant he's boasting about. But I love Hawaiian food so I took a chance and my whole family and I were extremelypleased! The food is great, it's family owned and operated and you can see the pride of ownership in the service theyprovide. Their drink menu is extensive. One warning, their small is large, their medium is extra large, and their large is bigenough for the whole family to bathe in! We loved this place and we'll be back the next time we come to bear lake. If you don'tstop here you're missing out! Read more
