The best local Coop. I?ve been a member for years and while I?ve frequented other Coops, they never seem to measure up to HM. I... appreciate supporting our local farmers and small businesses. Love the produce department! And I?m also impressed that I canfind a ton of GF products! I appreciate the helpful staff and they are always so kind. I don?t live as close as I used to but Istill travel in to make purchases. Read more

Decent selections and great hot food bar. Get rid of the Joe's soups. No flavor. The thing that has turned me off about the... coop is the prepared food grab and go portions are very small and very expensive. I can't justify paying almost $8 for a smallamount of tuna nicoise that is 50% celery, parsley and onions. Small dessert is over $6. Great gluten free options. I agreewith previous reviews alot of the staff is cranky and lack social etiquette with the customers. For a co-op they are paid wellwith amazing benefits so one would think management would look to hire people who are outwardly kind with great personalities. Read more

You will experience a snobability like you've never dreamed possible. This place is full of a group of pugnacious, entitled,... elitists attitudes. The manager of the store (Kari Bradley) is the root of the problem! The members should take notice thatthere needs to be a change of the management at this "Coop". Look at the prices! Does this look like a place that is for thepeople? Who's getting Filthy Rich at 100% profits? Most of the stuff you get there you can get at a local grocery store for 25to 50% cheaper. And most of their food is not coming locally. It's coming from all of the places that the Big Chain stores drawfrom. Get real! Read more

I've been shopping here since I was a teenager. I've always loved the selections of fresh organic produce. I love the deli and... basically everything about the store. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the lack of produce research donefor some of the "organic" produce that is being sold. I recently found out that the honeycrisp apples are coated with a productcalled Apeel, which is controversial and has very little reputable research behind it. If you go to their website they are NOTvery transparent in how they make Apeel, they only keep repeating that it's "safe". Not sure how anything can be called organicwith substances being added to it that are not considered organic. I would have preferred if this had been disclosed on thelabel, however it is not. Like GMO's used to be, large corporations feel like they don't need to disclose this to consumersbecause it's supposedly "safe". I have a right to know what I'm ingesting and a right to make the choice not to buy it, howeverif I don't know then that's taking that right away from me. Very disappointed in the store right now and the produce manager whoallowed this to go unchecked. Unfortunately I'm now very concerned about what else is being sold in the store. It is reallysaddening that even the "health food" stores are not reliable as they once were for clean food sources. If no one is reliable, then why am I shopping at a place that is supposed to be healthy and have high quality products? I don't mind the prices as longas I'm getting quality and transparency. Apparently I"m not. Read more
