Visiting from out of state on Thanksgiving I was looking for takeout food in the Montpelier area. Namaste Indian Nepalese... Kitchen was the only restaurant open. I used to like Indian cuisine but had not had it in years. I had chicken tikka masalaand lamb curry. Both dishes came out delicious. The service was great. Based on the food I will come back back in the futureand I highly recommend this restaurant. Read more

This place is so good! With minimal options for really good authentic food in central VT, this place hits all the flavortown... needs. The spices in the chicken curry are delicious and all the naans are *chefs kiss. Simon was great taking care of us too, definitely a go back spot. Read more

This place has huge potential. Didn?t expect to find Himalayan/Indian food in a small town of Montpellier, VT. Little... disappointed that they didn?t have most of the items that we wanted to try, esp. the Momos and chowmeins.Thalis were good too, little too sweet ( Chicken T.masala) to my liking. I?m sure curries taste good. With little makeover and upgrade in service, this place can bring true Himalayan hospitality and authentic taste that can cater to the wonderful people of Vermont and thevisitors as well. Read more

Their flavors were wonderful. Their naan bread options great. The portions compared to price were a bit steep. However, the... presentation and friendly staff made it worth the time in there. Would have liked to seen a sampler platter as they have manyamazing options to choose from. The Appetizer rolls are the go to for a meal option. Read more

Small quant restaurant in the heart of downtown Montpelier. Service was spotty, as I was sat at table, but then waited there... without a menu for over 10mins while the Main Owner? / host sat there working on his computer in the front host area. The waiterwas very attentive, but was juggling all the tables in the restaurant. You could tell they needed more wait staff, but wasn'tsure why the main person in front wasn't helping much. BUT... I was pleasantly surprised when the food came out. The ChilliGarlic Naan was the best Naan I have had in VT. The goat Vindaloo was very well seasoned, aromatic and delicious. The portionwas a little smaller than expected for $19 but the quality was very good. Read more

I saw this place had good reviews before we went. To say it was good is underrated. This place was AMAZING. The quality of the... food was so fresh, so tasty, and definitely worthy of 5 stars. We got the non-veg nepali thali platter, along with a mango lassiand rice pudding. The herbs, sauces and ingredients they used to make everything we ordered extremely mouth-wateringlyDELICIOUS. I can?t talk about authenticity, as I?ve never been to Nepali nor India, however, I loved every single thing I atetoday. In addition, the server who served us was so pleasant and kind, which made the whole experience that much better. Would10/10 recommend and come again. Read more
