????Food: 5/5 ????Place: 5/5 ????Service: 5/5 ????Price: 4/5 What surprised me the most is the bread. From the online pictures... it seemed too fluffy and thin, but I was totally wrong. Super tasty and crispy on the outside. Two sauces are served with thesandwiches and they are one of the best I’ve had! Read more

Delicious! The arepas sandwiches are simple and scrumptious. My arepa was beef with plantains, black beans, and cheese. I also... had empanadas: a mixture of beef, pork, and cheese. They are fully fried, hearty, and wonderful. The two sauces are both great, the red one is a tiny bit spicy and the green one is a cool and refreshing flavor. It’s a nice, clean vibe with fun art andfelt spacious and airy. And the service was very nice—you order on your phone via a QR code and they bring you everything! Read more

It's been a couple years since my original visit to Arepera. Everything on the menu is 100% gluten free. Make sure you get your... money's worth of the avocado cream sauce. - Guanabana juice ($3.75) - love anything soursop. Good but tiny. - Mixed empanadas(E7) ($7.50 for 3) - meats were tasty and the empanada perfectly deep fried. The only downside, again, is the portion size. -Chicharrón al horno (A18) ($12.00) - pork belly meat was tasty, with a few end pieces entering chicharron territory. GoodVenezuelan eats but small portions. 3.5 stars. Read more

This place is a must try. Portions are a little bit small but it’s definitely not expensive and worth every bite. Delicious,... definitely coming back. Thank you Venezuela for your great food. Peace. Read more

Very nice spot :) The food tasted delicious! The 6 pieces of yuca were fresh and crunchy. The empanadas were the star I think.... They're a bit small, but perfect for appetizers (comes in 3). We had chicken, beef and cheese. All delicious. Even the plantain(about 6 slices) were good :) The other recommendation I have is the arepas (venezuelan sandwiches). It's about 6inches indiameter. A tortilla filled with goodness. If you take the pabellon, it's pretty filling (meat + black beans + plantain + feracheese). They serve spicy salsa and avocado sauce with your meal. The plantain cheesecake was quite good too, but very small, although it's not really a cheesecake; more like a plantain pudding with a nice cream cheese frosting. Everything is quiteaffordable for the quantity. Read more

We are from Ottawa and it’s so hard to find good Venezuelan food there. Every time we tried a place we always left... disappointed. This place blew our minds because everything we order was made with good quality ingredients, was fresh and mostimportantly tasted amazing. We got the Pabellon De Carne Mechada arepas, plantains and chicken, beef and cheese empanadas. Werecommend trying the arepa and the cheese empanadas, they were our favourite. Read more

Beef empanadas were very flavourful and were my favourite compared to the fish and chicken. The fried plantains also were a... great addition to the meal, as they are sweet and balanced out the rest of the salty foods. Also, their green avocado sauce isawesome - definitely try it out! It isn’t very salty, and is slightly acidic. I ended up putting it on nearly everything togive a bit more brightness to the dishes. The arepas was good, but i needed to add a lot of the avocado sauce while eating itto give it more taste. Read more
