Went to this restaurant at 5:00 p.m. and received our food at 6:05 p.m., we were attending a concert at La Tulipe. Ambiance is... great, restaurant was clean but the service was terrible. We were seated and forgotten. It was only after we called over aserver to say that others who had been seated after us were receiving their food that they looked into us. My wife saw themtaking her pizza out of a box and putting it on a plate and based on how cold my submarine sandwich was when it arrived, I thinkthey must have prepared our order for pick-up. Someone came over once our meal arrived and said something about a computer notworking properly but restaurants ran well prior to computers, very bad service. Had to call over the waiter to get water on thetable. On the up side, the cold sub and pizza had a good taste and it was like eating decent leftovers the next day. Verydisappointed with how the restaurant handled this situation, they apologized but made excuses for why it happened that are notmy concern, it is theirs. They made no effort to compensate us for the cold food and extensive wait, but I sort of expectedthey would have comp’d one of the meals, offered us a discount coupon to return but they offered nothing but an assurance theywould share our experience with the owner. I hope the owner does read this review because based on my experience I would notreturn to this restaurant. Update: Monday, November 1, 2021 I received a message on Monday morning from the owner asking me tocontact him directly by email which I did that same day. I have yet to hear back from him. Good for quick pizza on Mont Royal... You can reserve the terrace which is huge.. because during August there are lots of ppl... because of the street fair and sales... No vegan options however... And this limits the customer base. Will try somewhere elsenext time... Sorry to say I won't be back! Good luck! Read more

An Italian style bar and restaurant as we like. First visit: professional staff and warm welcoming. The pizza was crusty and the... San Marzano tomato sauce was ok. Overall the taste is good. However something is missing to get 5 stars. Our first starter, thecalamari was crispy with a Calabrian chilli aioli, but little bit oily. The polpette or homemade meat balls served in a tomatoragu were heavy as an entree! The arancini were not bad. The Nutella fritters are very good. Second visit: unwelcome andunfriendly staff. The service was below average. 15 min to get the menu and 20 min to pay the bill. What’s happen? Let’shope that it was an exception. I’ll update my review if there will be an improvement. Read more

Summary: Disappointing experience, avoid this place, there are many high-end pizza restaurants in the area that deliver great... quality and service. For close to $75 for 1 starter, 2 pizza's and 2 cocktails, I would expect a better quality and much betterservice. We started with cocktails, which were okay but not excellent, and the Arancini starter. The Arancini balls were notbad, but a bit boring. Since we ordered them to share, it would have been nice if we each had a plate to put them on, instead ofeating them out of a bowl in the center of the table. While the toppings appear to be good quality and the selection is okay,the pizza itself leaves much to be desired. The crust is lifeless and dense, no nice air pockets and with a bready interior - inplaces brown to the point of being burned, but not in a nice way. Some of the topping was under cooked, and not all cheese wasmelted. After commenting on this to our waitress, I was informed that 'it is just their style of pizza'. Also, I guess it istheir style to only let guest have one drink, at no point were we asked whether we would like another drink, even though wefinished ours before our main course arrived. When asking for the check and a box to take the left over pizza, even though 3/4pizza was left uneaten we got a small box that we had to stuff the pizza in ourselves. p.s. I'm pretty sure the goats' cheesewas actually ricotta. It had not much flavor at all. EDIT: I was contacted by one the the managers of the restaurant and wasinformed that the experience I had was not standard. The way that this manager dealt with my complaint was exemplary - theyoffered their apologies for the substandard food and service, and extended an invitation to give them a second chance (and agift card for the value of the original visit).
