Always a great time here. Sometimes gets crowded as the space (the club part) is small, but the DJ?s are absolutely worth it!
The way this bar transforms into a 1920s tavern, during jazz nights, is surreal. The live band on display was amazing as well,... and their cocktails were great! Not really sure why this place is a 4.3, it's a solid 5 imo. Read more
*watch your drink* Ok so not my vibe of music tbh which is fine but the reason I?m writing a review is because two of my... friends felt veryyyy weird, dizzy and sick after one drink here!! Come to find out a worker of Datcha gave my friend glasscovers and told her ?not that it?s a serious problem here but it is in montreal? I thought that was really weird (nice warningbut strange). Fastest bar service I have ever seen at a bar or club. The team was clearly communicative, working together, smiling and... efficient. Drinks were great. We went a Saturday night and although it?s not really my vibe I had a fun time. The lights weresuper dim so you can?t see anyones face on the dance floor.. in the theme of the bar you?re playing Russian roulette when youdance with someone cause you don?t know if they?re cute or deadly ugly. The music was more house electronic. I?m not reallyinto that untz untz untz dance scene but i can tell it was good untz untz untz music. The place is also a bit too small. Myfriends and I wished it was like three times the size so that there could be a bigger dance floor with more people. Also maybeyou guys should put instructional posters in each of the stalls of the bathrooms on how to potty ? it seems no one knew how toflush and all toilets were clogged. Goods drinks in a relaxed and cozy patio setting. The waitress was extremely friendly and gave us a gods service + the drinks... were delicious hence the 5/5. Keep up the good work! Read more
Cool bar in the Mile End. The decor is nice and I liked the vibe. The drinks were on the pricier side but that?s expected. Gets... very crowded on the weekend which makes it kind of hard to walk around, but I?ve seen worse. If you want to sit down and grab adrink though I would suggest you to come before midnight as it gets pretty festive after that (music gets louder and a lot ofpeople dancing). The bar next door is also very cute but was way too crowded. We were stepping on each other?s feet as it wastiny. One bartender was a bit rude. Read more
I've been to the Jazz and Tarot Thursday twice now and it's always pretty fun. There's an interesting speakeasy atmosphere with... live Jazz music, drinks are pretty good and not that expensive ($12-14 for a cocktail) and the service is intimate and friendly.The personalized tarot card readings also give a sort of mystical vibe to the place which is pretty nice. The worst experience I?ve ever had at a bar: they force tips, accuse you of doing wrongful actions when you didn?t do it, and... drag you out; and then steal your jacket as they Dont accept the coat check you paid for 2 minutes earlier: they will steal over$100 from you. Additionally, they are CREEPY WITH YOUR GIRLFRIENDS. There are many better options than this. Please Dont wasteyour entire night to come here, Go ELSEWHERE. Read more
