The service was great, but the food was so-so and it was very expensive. The second course was pasta with tomato sauce, and it... taste like tomatoes straight out a can. I know they change their menu every week, so maybe I went on a bad week... But eitherthey lower their prices, or they increase the quality of the food, because they don't match. Read more

Everything was immaculate. The food, service, setting. The chef from Trieste does an incredible fixed menu.

First time to this lovely bistro. The first impression when I walked in the place was wow. It's so beautifully decorated and all... the vinyl was impressive (they sell them too). We sat on the terrace. Their menu, a 3 course meal, is pretty limited with only achoice of beef or salmon. However, they change the menu weekly! The first course was Prosciutto with cheese mousse and spinach.The second course was linguine and cherry tomatoes. The last course was either the steak or the salmon. The dessert is notincluded in the 3 course meal but I had the panna cotta. One word for our meal : excellent! Everything was so flavorful, almostlike a punch, and well balanced. My favourite was the prosciutto dish. It was original and so well thought. It's a small andcozy restaurant with warm staff. You'll not be disappointed. Read more

This is a superb little Italian gem. Danielle and her chef husband own a charming restaurant serving delicious food, for nine... years running we were told. We stumbled on it late on a Saturday. There is little choice on the menu; in fact, we had nochoices to make at all, except which exemplary adjectives to choose to describe each course of our meal. Since the prix fixemenu changes weekly, I won’t go into detail of the particular flavours or textures. Small restaurant with a very familial ambiance. The menu changes daily and the day we tried it we had the polenta and bolognese... sauce started with was quite consistent and filling, the arugula salad done classically and the mushroom risotto. Everythingtasted good in particular the starters. The service could be a little more professional as servers did not seem familiar withthe products available. Read more

Had a lovely dinner at barcolabistro with my bf and his parents. I know restaurants on Saturday nights are always busy though,... the restaurant seemed like had a lot busier night today. The service was incredibly slow which made us very very disappointedespecially me and my bf since we brought our guests there for the dinner. Otherwise the dishes were fantastic especially entreesand desserts. The pasta was a bit uncooked but I liked the flavorsome sauce with eggplants. Our guests were also satisfied aswell. We might come back at some point to have their gateau au chocolat :) Read more

The staff was great and helped us accomodate last minute additions to our table. They were also very knowledgeable about the... menu, the chef, their products, etc. Food was excellent, with quite various options, good quantities and balanced flavors. Thewine list is also on par. Very nice setting, with good musical choices. Note that the place is on the small side, it would beadvisable to make reservations. I recommend getting an appetizer to share for two if you're not that hungry. Read more
