Really loved BEVO. I?ve walked by the place many times before and never felt like I should try it out but decided to give it a... try right now that Happening Gourmand is on in the Old Port and what a nice surprise, the food was delicious ???? and servicewas great too. Honestly, I went in with 0 expectations other than paying $29 for a 3-course meal and thinking this is a placefor tourists but I was very surprised with how good the food was. The place is unique and beautiful. You feel like you are sitting in a historical place. Our table was at the corner but it is... next to a window that makes the experience better. We started with an appetizer that was good and satisfying (its picture isattached). Then we ordered Gnocchi and a beef salami pizza (forgot to picture them????). The waiter mixed the gnocchi order withanother plate but he was considerate and changed the plate immediately. I took one glass of white wine that was nice. The pricesare a bit high as the restaurant is located in the old port. I put minus one star for limiting us for two hours to eat andleave. Usually people do not sit for more than two hours in a restaurant unless they are drinking and enjoying morefoods. Knowing that we had two hours to order, eat, and leave made us eating fast and not enjoying the food that much. Iunderstand it was Saturday and it becomes more crowded in the evening but still this thing affected the whole experience. Read more
