My first time to enjoy Jamaica food. The restaurant is small and it seems to focus on delivery dish instead of dining in. Anyway... I enjoyed my meal inside the restaurant and was really satisfied with the food. Notably, the employee kindly allow me to orderportion of chicken and fish so I can taste both chicken and fish with friendly price. The chicken is amazing. It tastes sweet atthe first bite and spicy flavor comes later. What a rich flavor. The fish is also a surprise. The fish is similar to the one inmy hometown. The fish is compact. The rice mixed with some unknown sauce is also flavory. In addition, the Jamaica local juicetastes sweet and fresh. Good meal and good price. Read more

Food was ok. Liked the jerk chicken. They could have increased the size of the pack.

The jerk chicken and the oxtail plates were great! The boom juice is also a must try. Portions are generous. It tastes authentic... and the employees add a nice vibe to the place. I will be back ! Next time I will have to try the Roti or the stewed goat! Read more

I have chosen to not go back for a few years to Boom J's because of what I remembered a mediocre experience, but boy has that... changed. Rayshawn (I believe) hooked me uppppp with the most delicious plates of oxtail and curry goat. Finger lickin' good. Ithought their salad was well thought out (a nice melange of cabbage, tomato, carrot) and a perfect side. The plantains wereripe to perfection. Goat was a bit salty, but perfect with the rice and peas. The only thing that I wasnt too pleased with werethe patties, which were from Patty King from Scarborough. Patties flavour was bland, didnt taste like nothing, which was sad asa box was 25$. Would not recommend patties. Since they were outsourced tho, this is a 5 star meal! Read more

Great jerk spot, had the jerk with rice and peas and a jerk roti. Everything was great tasting, seating outside. Little more ... pricey than what I'm used to in Toronto but can't complain flavorful and good portions. The fried plantains excellent, chickenpatty were the only negative. Read more
