Service slow, two rooms. No spaghetti on the menu but they have beers though. Hand soap smells good but was all over the floor.... Lights good, could see fine. They got lots of pictures of strangers, who are they? Two doors at the front. Nice. You can sit atany table or at the bar but not on the floor which is soapy. No fish tank or lava lamps. Three stars. The beer was fine and the food was fine. The fun and lively atmosphere helped this get an additional star. The service was... friendly too. There are a number of better places near by. Read more

We were there on a quiet warm October, early Sunday night. We sat on the back patio. Good service, tons of choices for... beer...definitely had my favorites. Nice quiettime to talk my daughter after a day at McGill. Food was ok/good and so fast!Definitely would try again. Read more

This is the cheapest place I've found to drink and eat quality stuff in downtown Montreal. Great craft beer and cocktails at a... bargain. Great burgers and Mexican sandwiches. Excellent pub vibe and friendly service. Read more

Great selection of beer and we loved the atmosphere. I ordered a flight and my wife got a pint. We went to one of the patios... which was nice and quiet but it was a hot day so we ended up retreating indoors to the air conditioning. The bartender was veryfriendly. Loved the music! (My wife said it was almost as if they had loaded her Spotify playlist just for us!) we orderedanother drink and the churros for a treat. Great time and we would definitely come back. Read more

I like how this place feels on many levels. First because it is a proper brewery in the heart of town, but also for the casual... vibe and local community that connects with the bar. As a traveler and a regular (how?s that even possible) - every time I needa proper craft beer and a burger in downtown - there?s no better place. Read more

Haven't been here in ages, I was walking down Ste Catherine on a rainy afternoon and figured why not, for old times sake. One of... the oldest brewpubs in town, and definitely the one with the most "worked in" feel. I wouldn't go so far as to call it divey, but it has history, that's for sure. I had stopped patronizing here because the beers were sometimes off, either too buttery, astringent, oxidized or otherwise just "off". I don't know if it's the heat, nostalgia or a new brewer but this time around mypint of classic IPA was pretty tasty. It's comforting to know that when everyone else is doing hazy beers, this beer is stillavailable. Service and ambiance has always been great here, I just hope the beer quality stays like this.
