Like everyone else says, the cashier misunderstood the communication. I specified the exact name of the beverage from the menu... and she thought I'm ordering one hot and cold. She yelled at me after just for something that's not a big deal. I askedspecifically already and then pointed at the one I wanted to make sure she gives me what I wanted. Wow ???? I?ve been coming to this place here and there when I come to the library. Never disappointed by the coffees or... pastries, but today really got me into writing this review. I must say that this is my 3rd review ever and the first bad one.The barista was clearly in a bad mood, worst customer service. Rude, impatience and didn?t even apologized. I was trying toleave him a tip on the machine and he kept yelling in French: look at the screen so annoyed and rude. I ended up not leavinganything. I worked in customer service for more than 20 years and this is clearly my worst experience. He literally brusquely grabbed the machine and wasn?t even listening to what I was saying. Great place to work, inside the metro, so very accessible. The staff though, made me a little mixed in my feelings towards this... place. Good lattes, quiet place to sit and relax. A lot of students studying but it's a big enough place with a lot of seating area
I come here to study, grab a coffee that tastes great and that I know they can do with coconut milk or with any other non dairy... product (getting older sucks). Other then that, they have fresh pastries, croissants, chocolate croissants, a variety of muffinsand, In case you're hungry for something more consistent, there's sandwiches and salads. Be forewarned that nearly allsandwiches include cheese and so does some of their salads. So avoid if you're lactose intolerant, and watch out for studentsswarming the place before classes, that might add to the waiting time. Food was okay but too pricey for what it was. I had to ask three times, nearly shouting to the french guy to take an order after... standing for a minute cause he wouldn't even say hi. The staff talked to each other the whole time, aren't helpful and don'tconcentrate on their jobs. Read more
