If you?re in Montréal you have to try this place. My friends and I randomly strolled into this restaurant while looking for a... place to eat and I am so glad we did. Everything about this place is amazing. The food is to die for, I had the super torito anda piña colada and it is by far the best meal i?ve ever had. The atmosphere and hospitality from staff is incredibly welcoming,you can tell the staff is passionate about their food and the restaurant. 5 stars does not do this place justice. Had great food and experience at Caifan the other day. We ordered the tasting menu and it consisted of a Sweet Potato Soup,... Torito (jalapeno poppers), Rosarito (fish tacos), Cochinita (pulled pork tacos), and a generous portion of Res (beef) with aspecial cheese crust and tortillas. For drinks, we ordered Cometa (the bomb! - had a spicy kick to it) and Michelada. The soup,pork tacos, beef tacos, and cometa were absolutely divine! The other items were good too. We tried Caifan a week ago and we had an amazing experience. We ordered the Chef's tasting menu, and he wipped up special off... the menu vegetarian dishes, that were absolutely fantastic. His creations were a blend of traditional cuisine, with top gradeingredients and a innovative twist. Also, service was warm and welcoming which made made the experience even more memorable.Loved it, a must-try for vegetarians! Read more
