Had the brisket, potato salad, baked beans with a cornbread. Server was decent, good suggestions and friendly. I'd come again!... The brisket was too "fatty" for me but anyone else I know would have thought it was awesome. I'm just not a fan. Even with noteating 1/4 of it or so I was still plenty full!! Horrible experience! Never again! After waiting for over 1hr.30minutes. And going through 3 different waiters due to being... abandoned or forgotten by the first waiter, our order finally arrived. The ribs were dried, burnt, VERY SALTY and bitter! Mostof the fries were burnt and cold, they left the a few unburnt ones to disguise the top of the plate. It was a waste of time andmoney. We watched 6 different people from the table across us leave because no waiter attended to them after 30 minutes. Theplace needs to hire like 3-5 more waiters. Some of the chairs outside are broken with nails sticking out right on top of it, ifyou are not careful, you could definitely sustain serious injuries. It was my first and most certainly last visit. My favorite slow cooked pork ribs are out of stock by the time I reached this restaurant. Tried their pulled pork sandwich and... it was up to the mark (baked beans are extremely sweet). The issue was the service time. I had to wait for 45 minutes to getfirst plate of food. Restaurant has indoor as well as outdoor seating arrangement. The location is fantastic! Read more

Actually a 4.5. If your like that amazing BBQ smoke flavour, you go here. Everything smoked to perfection. I asked the Maitres D... what the specialty was, he said all things BBQ. I agree, but if one thing was the best part of our Dixie plate, was the ribs.This was a 5 on 5. What true BBQ smoke flavour. I had such a fun time at Diablos! I’ll always recommend sitting at the bar at any restaurant to get to know the vibe and... recommendations. We tried their Fried Chicken, Pulled Pork Poutine with Cajun Fries, and Frickles. Fried Chicken: Wow! I havenever picked a bone so clean as having it at Diablos. The fried skin was absolutely tantalizing and filled with flavour - nodipping required. The chicken meat itself was moist and juicy, and every bite left me wanting more. It’s a homemade recipefrom the chef so you can’t go wrong with that technique and seasoning! The sides were also delicious! Coleslaw, fries, brusselsprouts and the best gravy I’ve ever had. Pulled Pork Poutine with Cajun Fries - more fries and gravy!! I really enjoyed thecajun seasoning for the fries. It wasn’t too spicy, however it left a nice smouldering burn in the mouth which paired verynicely with the juicy pulled pork on top. The pork had a nice blend of perfectly cooked moist textures, with barbecuesauce. Frickles - I can’t not get fried pickles if they’re on a menu! They use the same seasoning as they do with the deepfried chicken, so it was extra enjoyment right there. This time, I did dip the pickles. It was awesome! Very disappointed. Ordered fried chicken on uber eats and it was very very bad. No flavour, overcooked and dry. Coleslaw was... horrible and the beans were not good to say the least. I gave two stars because the fries and gravy were at least edible. Read more

The meat was delicious!! I tried the fried chicken and brisket combo with a side of Brussel sprouts (the green beans were sold... out) and french fries. Docking 2 stars because of the overall experience: half our party was served quite some time before theother (we were 6 people), drinks were forgotten (and weren't that flavorful), we never got water after our first pitcher and thedessert we really wanted was also sold out (at 7pm on a Friday). I'll go back for the fried chicken when I'm in the area -maybe with a smaller party. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for some good BBQ downtown Montreal. Read more
