A trip in the past with the same food and atmosphere. Basic,no frills, authentic and well done food. The waitresses are... professionals and enjoy what they are doing. Family , friendly feel with several regular customers. From the traditional egg andbacon to the poutine, steak and fish and chips. Opened most of the day. I love this place. A nice place to visit for some pretty decent poutine and steamies. The interior is styled to look like '50s or '60s diner,... although I don't think it's really changed since they opened considering the place has been around for well over 40 years. Amazing spot for either the morning after a night out on the town or even with the family. The original family still owns this... place which is really nice to hear. Granddaughter works the cash as I do this. Had a great server, very fast worker and was ableto remember everything especially with speed. A lot of nostalgic items, I would not be surprised if more than 90% of stuff hereis original from 1947. Food was super reasonable and the quantity was massive. What a great find if you're out in this part of town. Decades of experience have this place running like clockwork, and that... comes with every staff member being very friendly, smiles and laughter all around. Truly feels like a proper 50s era diner afterall this time. Food was delicious (exactly what you expect from a diner like this) but what was most impressive was, despite therestaurant being full, our food came out roughly five minutes. Read more

I go to the greenspot often... Slightly too often to be honest. There is something about this restaurant that makes me feel... right at home. I'm not sure if it's the classic diner appeal or the music or the jukeboxes on each table but I'm just in lovewith it. The portions are extremely generous. My first diner ever so i don?t have any place to compare it to. The ambiance was great the food was great, just there was a lady... in her 40s i think who refused to serve us since few of us speak only english. That upset me a bit seeing discrimination but dovisit the food is good. Read more

Service can be kind of slow sometimes but the food is always great and at good prices too! Their lasagna is pretty good as well... as their souvlakis. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a relax evening with friends or family, the decor is also verycute for a date ! Read more

Really enjoyed this spot! The premium example of a greasy spoon style restaurant, still in business after decades because they... don't compromise on quality and quantity. Friendly service, great portions, fresh eggs, just perfect. Fantastic poutine withdark and rich gravy. A must try in Montreal. Read more
