Absolutely exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Excellent recommendations on food and wine from our server, who... was obviously *genuinely* passionate about the recommendations he was making, which was so lovely. Service level was perfectlyattentive, never left us wanting anything, but never felt intrusive either. We stayed just over two hours enjoying our deliciousfood and wine, and never felt rushed. Perfect spot for a date, we happened to be celebrating an anniversary and couldn’t havebeen happier with our decision to celebrate at Impasto. Read more

Really what is there to even say. I had the mushroom tagliatelle this week and it’s the best Italian dish I’ve ever had and... I’ve been to Italy over 50 times. This dish was absolute perfection. There’s nothing even neutral to say about Impasto. Weare so proud to have them in our neighborhood. The service is fantastic. Quick last minute Montreal trip: dinner at @impastomtl - amazing service and incredible food. Everything was super delicious... ????????????. . Antipasto Misto - 3 Homemade charcuteries, 1 cheese, condiments: you can't go wrong with good cured meats! Thesewere really nicely done - not overly salty. Delicious flavours. The cheese was good too. Not too bold (which I like). . Polpo -Octopus, lentils, pancetta, gremolata: this octopus was grilled perfectly. Very tender! Loved the bits of pancetta????????. . Insalata Misticanza - Boston lettuce salad, endives, radicchio, hazelnuts: beautifully presented, and tasted superrefreshing! Really loved the hazelnuts. . Focaccia - Homemade focaccia bread, olive oil: they had some of the fluffiest focacciaI've ever had! Delicious ????????. . Casarecce - Mussels, cherry tomatoes, cannellini beans, saffron: I always love a yummyseafood pasta, and this casarecce dish was absolutely delicious! . Gnocchi di Ricotta - Tomato & basil sauce, parmigianoreggiano: pillowy soft gnocchi with a tasty tomato based sauce! Can't go wrong ????????. . Papardelle Bolognese - Bolognaisesauce, porc, veal & beef, parmigiano reggiano: a classic sauce with perfectly done papardelle! . Costata di Manzo - Ribsteak32oz, red wine sauce: this steak was 120$ - definitely made for sharing. Super tender and full of flavour. Perfectly cookedmedium. The only minor criticism is that I kind of feel like that for 120$, it needs to have something more unique than just asteak. . Porchetta - Pork, endives, pear & gorgonzola, salsa verde: delicious dish! But I thought the porchetta might have beena bit too fatty for my liking. The other elements of the dish were super yummy too! . Rapini: good side dish that came with thesteak dish. . Tiramisu: a classic Italian dessert - this was nice and light. Not too sweet. I love this place. The food is amazing and the service was really good. Everything we took on the menu was amazing and the pasta... was freshly made. The herbs were well used in every plate. The beef tatar is a must and it is excellent. The pana cotta andcanolli are great to finish the service. You can tell that the food was made with care and expertise. Read more
