Very sweet people running this place and yummy sushi.
High quality ingredients, and huge rolls. The combo was a bit too large for just two, but a perfect take out meal to bring to... the park for a small picnic. We highly recommend this place, and it's well worth the wait. The owner is super nice and reallyhelpful! Read more

Nevwr been to Montréal and was with partner and we had walked all day an taking in the city sites and wanted sushi for a... couple days but kept ordering other types of food. We seen Izusushi and just wanted to sit and eat. The owner was friendly andpolite and said since we were visiting he would make the best meal ever with a smile. To make a long story short it was thetastiest and most delicious , affordable and very fresh. We loved it so much we are going back to Montréal next week. Lol jkbut seriously it was one of the top 5 sushi restaurants we have ever eaten a.d highly recommend eating there. Thank you so muchfor making it an excellent dining experience. Read more
Delicious, fresh & affordable - have to say Izu is one of the best sushi places I have ever eaten at. The owner is so nice &... accomodating - it is a take out place but he kindly let my partner & I sit down & enjoy our sushi after a long day exploring. Itwas incredibly yummy - the sushi rolls were big (impressed!), the ingredients fresh (the right amount of flavours in the roll tobe extremely satisfying & delicious!), & the rolls didnt fall apart in the sauces, (expertly made! Honestly biggest pet peeve iswhen rolls collapse in the soy sauce - this did not happen here!) & the kitchen/restaurant were extremely clean & well lookedafter - we ate & enjoyed every bite. I am sad this sushi restaurant isn't in my city, it would definitely become my go to sushiplace - thank you so much for the wonderful experience & amazing sushi, cannot wait to go back to Montréal & eat again! Absolutely amazing. I ordered sushi for a group of ten for a bachelorette picnic. The owner was very accommodating and went out... of his way to cater to varying dietary restrictions.
