Cocktails were fine but they don't offer any food. That's pity. They accept you to bring some though.
My wife and I always visit this bar when we are in Montreal. It is quite simply our favourite bar in the city. An unassuming looking bar ends up being a surprisingly joyful experience. This has a very local feel to it with its friendly,... calm but enthusiastic clientele singing along to new songs as well as classics from the 70s and 80s. Sebastien and the otherbartenders are as physical as Olympic athletes behind the bar, and serve up creative cocktails and classic drinks - but if theyhave time and of you're in the mods for a pleasant surprise, ask them to prepare something specifically for you and you'll be intaste/feel heaven. Came in with a group of three. Was promised a bigger table however, ended up being placed on a smaller because a larger group... came in after. That being said, the Bartender Alex apologized and brought us free shots to our table. His service was above andbeyond to make sure our business was appreciated. The price of the cocktails are in the medium to higher range but, they are farfrom being water downed and have wonderful tastes/mixes. In addition, you?re able to order off menu items if you have a liquorof choice. I personally order the mad men and the sneaky motherfu**ker that Alex recommended for a drink with absinthe. Shooters are tasty and $3.50. For cocktails, they?re $12, 2oz of liquor, and delicious - highlight was the Cucumber Rickey,... which was refreshing and intoxicating in equal measure. Atmosphere was great, played a couple bangers and was generally a blast. Read more
Good cocktail at great price. I love the atmosphere here. It was has a mix of industrial, yet warm and rustic at the same time.... The drinks are nice but some of them could be better (i.e mad man). Service was extremly warm and helpful. Highly recommendedafter a nice dinner in Chinatown. Read more
