We were a party of 5 adults and all of us had a pleasant experience.... their specialty cocktails were just delicious, the... entres were great and of course the main dishes were awesome.... I must mention that the service was great,quick and the serverswere super friendly.... even though we sat in the terasse I must give thumbs up to the interior decor... Wow! Just simply wow! From the hold historic look, the mouth watering apps to the great drinks, this restaurant is a hidden... gem! The appetizers were SO pretty it was difficult to dig into them. The onion dip and chips were AMAZING. I had the steak &fries as the main course it was cooked to perfection. I am always so nervous ordering steak but it was delicious and thepresentation of the food was simply prefect! Highly recommend!!! Read more
Simon was our waiter really great experience we?ve wanted to come to this restaurant for a while for some reason didn?t get... round to it. Very happy to have gone we started with snails yes not for everyone but certainly very enjoyable comes with asalad. Then l moved on to salmon tartare my partner had beef tartare presentation taste and the whole experience was well worthit. Looking forward to going on a Sunday as they have oysters for $1 which is great love them. Looking forward to goingback. The atmosphere and the energy in Labarake in really easy flowing lots of parking as they use the supermarket car park. Allin all a great experience. Read more

Had supper @ LABARAKE for the first time, loved it! It's a beautiful restaurant. Sat in the terrace. Had the shrimp ceviche to... start; very nice, with coriander, lime, red onions and jalapeno. Than had the octopus, with corn and chimichurri, very tenderand cooked to perfection! My drink: le Gin-ger, very tasty and refreshing! Loved the service with a smile. Thank u all! Read more
Excellent place! Service was 5 stars; Helpful, friendly, prompt, funny Food; Tasty! Everything tasted great. My only comment is... that the ceviche needed a bit more kick (I am admittedly picky about ceviche) Drinks; a wide selection from the fun and funkyto more classic. You can keep it cheap just like you can spend half your whole bill on mezcal margaritas. Overall; I reallyliked it. I have to admit the bill goes up fast, especially with oysters. Absolutely delicious! By far the best food we had during one week traveling in Quebec city and Montreal. The staff was friendly... and kept up with our poor French. The place is quite big and it's easy for them to accommodate large groups (we were 8 with 3toddlers). The food was excellent. We had the poutine Homard, the tataki tuna, rissoto and lots of different desserts andeverything was top notch. I wished we had discovered this place earlier during our visit.
