Excellent place right in the middle of downtown Montreal. It's across from the street from the Bell Centre so the place is... pretty busy when the Canadiens are playing. The food is very good, the service is friendly. Highly recommended. Read more

Big restaurant near the Bell Center, stopped in for lunch while downtown. It was pretty quiet, we had a couple of salads for a... quick lunch. Service was quick and attentive. The chicken salads were very good the topped with a strawberry dressing. Read more

I went there with my son and his girlfriend before a hockey game. Got there around 5:15. We got seated with our menus and waited... 10 minutes for someone to come and see us. We ordered right away, so around 5:30. The place was about half full I guess. It took45 minutes for my son and his girlfriend to get their plates.... And mine was nowhere to be found... I am diabetic so I reallyhad to eat before going to the game. So I get up to speak to the manager as to explain the situation, by this time I was''hangry'', but did not make a scene because I'm not that kind of person. The manager apologized and offerd me something''quick'', witch I refused because we had to go. Then the manager said she was going to email me a gift certificate for nexttime... This was 3 weeks ago... This place is waaaay overpriced (2 plates and an nacho dip ran me up 100$, no drinks). Food waskind of warm, I guess, and over cooked. The service was terrible. I do not usually complain since I have been in their shoesalready. But this was just too much for me to not say anything. Read more

We had a happy hour as a big group and the venue was enticing and classy. The restaurant management could have done a better job... with noting down the details of our reservation and handling the discontentment with a higher level of courtesy. The restaurantwas almost empty, but there was some antsy scrambling over how to accommodate our group, which tarnished our experience. It wasrectified by the professionalism and graciousness of our waiter, Charlotte, who made us feel welcome and served us relentlesslywith a smile and ease. Thank you for making our evening, Charlotte! Read more

I've been here a couple of times and I always get the ribs and I've never been disappointed. The price is right at 30$ and the... drinks are decently priced too, and they always had a seat for us quickly even without a reservation. Better than the Cage whichis right beside and always completely booked. Service is very fast too and the staff is always very friendly. If you areattending an event at Bell Center, Madison's is the place to eat ???? Read more

I have been here about 10 months ago. It was quite empty at the time due to restrictions, so we didn’t need to wait. I had... found it expensive for the quality (not good). And I remember the beer “selection” was awfully poor for what Montreal has tooffer nowadays –it’s as if they hadn’t changed their beer providers since 2005. But more importantly: if one takes thetime to scroll down reading reviews here, most of them are really really bad and management keeps saying that they take guestfeedback seriously and that they would like the client's contact information. However, if they did take guest feedbackseriously, there wouldn’t be so many bad reviews for years now. Bottom line: don’t waste your time. Read more

The salmon tasted a bit bland and dry. However, the service was courteous. Their burgers were tasty. The chicken fingers were... pretty good too. Don't go for the mac and cheese. Read more

My husband and I went to Madison's before the Bill Burr show last night with another couple. We were seated quickly and overall... the speed of the service was fine given that it's the night of a show. Our waitress was nice as well as the rest of thestaff. My complaint is my meal. I ordered grilled salmon, which came my choice of two side orders (vegetables and my choice ofpotato). I don't like potatoes so I asked if I could have more vegetables instead. The salmon was fine ... but it was on a bedof edamame? Edamame isn't a vegetable. Usually "vegetables" means steamed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, maybeasparagus depending on the place). Then when I asked where my "extra" vegetables were, they brought out another bowl of - youguessed it - edamame. We started to say something to the manager but we were already running late. It's just such an odd sidedish that's supposed to represent "vegetables". I go to restaurants a lot and I've never had this issue. Another issue is thatmy husband was served his vodka/soda in a tall glass instead of a regular glass. I understand they ran out of glasses but theybasically watered down his drink. It would have been better to give the club soda on the side. Read more
