When we are in Montreal we always make it a point to visit this restaurant! We always sit at the bar and have been fortunate... enough to be seated immediately without rsvp. Service is horrible ! I had to ask 3 times to have my mimosa which arrive well after we started eating, we asked for a birthday... candle with the dessert and they forgot about it.. food is okay… my fish was well cook but the flavour was bland ! I ate here twice in one day. Once for breakfast with reservations and once for brunch without reservations. For our reservation,... they brought us to our table but it was still dirty and not set. Besides that, both times the service was exceptional. Once weordered, the food was brought to our table fairly quickly and everything tasted so fresh. Great choice for special occasions. Our waiter was very welcoming and attentive, giving us the best service possible. Following... our server’s recommendation, we ordered the filet de boeuf which was excellent and when the dessert ganache ran out, heoffered a resembling tiramisu which was also delicious. The quality of the food and service outweigh the cost associated withit so overall, the dinner was a very enjoyable experience! Read more

We had a beautiful Saturday night experience. Everything was so detailed and cared for in the service. For the food, while... everything was magnificently cooked I found some dishes either lacking in seasoning like the butternut squash velouté. Iunderstand they wanted to try to make the natural sweetness of the squash come out but a little hint of salt wouldn't have hurt.It was still very enjoyable just no wow. Other items were in my opinion too salty. I had the guinea fowl with lentil stew. Thefowl was so delicious but the lentils were in my opinion too salty. When eaten with the fowl it was superb but I finished themeat way before (half a breast) the lentils so it wasn't balanced anymore. Anyways, the food was mostly excellent but alwayswith a hick in it. However, they were all a beauty to the eyes. The desserts were very good. No complaints there. My favoritewas the apple one. It had the sweet but mostly sour taste that helps you digest all the food we ate. In general, very goodexperience and lots of attention to the details but not perfect. Read more
