Have been coming her for years and can say definitevely that the quality and size of the products has been on a downward spiral... for some time. Recently bought several pastries (lemon tart, clafoutis, tatin) - they were all really quite bad. They have alsodecided to close their seating area indefinitely, which may have been the nail in the coffin for me. While they also don't havea place to sit, everything at Lescurier a few doors down is cheaper, bigger, and better. Read more

NOT family friendly. Walked in today (September 17, 2022) and after buying numerous pastries asked if there was a place to clean... my baby's hands as she had been playing in the dirt before. The cashier looked at me like I had asked some exorbitant questionand rudely answered that they didn't. Really? No sink at a bakery? The employee's hands must be disgusting! Obviously she wasjust being disgustingly rude and I will never go back there again. There is a great bakery just down the road. Read more

I have been to st.Denis and Atwater ones too . so far , van Horne location store is the worst to visit. The person who was... working was very rude (I went on a weekday around 5 pm )? the place was not all crowded and they didn?t have what I wanted .Since I moved to this place recently I asked if I come at a different place would I get that item . She had no patience toanswer it she shouted ? you buy what you see , look what is here buy and go ? I felt really embarrassed. She didn?t seem tocare and then since they were out of most of the stuff I got something and while billing she just threw the food on the counterI had to use the card without pay-pass that day so it took time and she didn?t have enough patience to let me do that . she tookanother customer when I was still paying . I felt as though they wanted me out of the store .. it was not like the store wascrowded. I saw people before me ordering and paying and taking more than enough time . She just wanted to get rid of me and Idon?t know what I did to her . I even paid tips after all this embarrassment. I would never come back to the store again . Iwill go to other locations even though it?s far but will never come back to this store . Read more

The three stars are for the staff, who are always great. But the quality has been slipping quite a lot, and the pastries in... particular are sub-par. The cannelés are a good example, the few I had recently were overcooked on the outside and doughy onthe inside. What's left now is a serviceable sandwich place, although even for that you can find better a block away... Read more

For a chocolate lover, I have to say that they have so many choices. I got the chocolate cake, chocolate cookies, chocolate... mousse and chocolate filled croissant. Just check how much chocolate they put inside the croissant as the filling, you alreadyit will taste amazing ! Read more

Great ready made sandwiches, service and lattes. I got a baguette cut for snacks later and it did not disappoint. I recommend... the classic sandwich and the ham cheese croissant. And for dessert the apple blueberry pastry. Read more

I love Mamie Clafoutis! The employees are really nice and accommodating to a non-French speaker and the breads and desserts I... buy here are always so fresh! However... We normally buy our bread here and lately they have only been selling half loaves fornearly the same price as a full loaf... It seems the employees realize how silly this is but unfortunately (and I understand)they don't make the rules. Some communication to management regarding dissatisfaction of bread prices to portion would beappreciated, because several times I have said "nevermind" to the bread, and bought my sliced bread elsewhere. A sweet little cozy spot in Outremont. They have their own pastries and breads. The service is friendly and welcoming. The place... is divided into two different sections. First floor is where you're served and upstairs have chairs and sofas to relax, nibbleon something to eat and drink some good coffee. Highly recommend! Read more
