The owner Mansour and the server Sammy was really welcoming and friendly. If you like spicy don?t forget to ask for their house... made spicy sauce. That is very delicious. We had a seafood and lam dish at restaurant it was wonderful. The environment is verycalm and social friendly. Love it for sure we will comeback again. Recommend 100% to eat in Montreal. Read more

A nice vacation on Montreal. We had an excellent evening and dinner at Menthe et couscous. Their lamb tajine is so delicious and... comes with a small ball of couscous which is very tasty. Amazing friendly service and the manager kept on chatting with us aboutMontreal and where to go. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Montreal. It is a must try. Read more

Choose this restaurant as we are a group of 7 so we decided to try their group menu. The location is very central and they have... done an amazing job is making the place cozy and comfortable. While the interior space is narrow and long, it is well seated anddishes are simply gorgeous. While the group menu seems nice , the food preparation, quality and content were much to be desiredfor $50/ person. 1. Soup/ salad. They did not ask if we wanted salade or soup, and they served salad without consulting us.Though it was not bad, too much raisin was used in the salade. Walnuts were great touch but it did not seem to be enough greensfor 7 people. 2 appetizer. wine dip was not very tasty. moussaka and other amuse bouche small bowls were ok?. None of them werereally out of the world and mostly are on the sweet side?? I do like raisin, but again too much were used in the appetizers ?.The bread were good tho?. However if the dips were not diverse and offer enough of flavour , it was not great. 3. Main course, lamb meat balls were really tasty and succulent. There were served on a bed of couscous with vegetables in a oversized familyplat. Merguez were dry and tasted slightly grainy?? chicken plate has white meat but again dry to taste. All plates lack sauceso they offered us sauce on the side to add to couscous?? but they are not as tasty nor veloute as merguez or chicken platesauce. 4. Dessert: baklava was delicious as well as Turkish coffee. Overall , quite disappointed switch the group menuexperience. Should have just each on order a la carte and add $9,96 to have table d?hôte. Probably better taste and morediversity and better service. Read more

I'll start by saying that the food here was amazing and delicious and if I were to solely rate the food it would be 5 stars. The... service however really needs some improvement. After being seated and having our orders taken, we received the wrong appetizersby the same server who took our order. Then instead of receiving our correct appetizers we got our Main Course. I corrected thatwith the server and they took our food back and brought out the appetizers we ordered except they were clearly made in a rush asone of them was missing the lamb that was supposed to come with it. Finally after all that we thought we would have some dessertand asked for a dessert menu only for them to have completely forgotten about it and after waiting 15 min we just asked for thebill and left. Not once did anyone come to check if the food was good or if we need anything. Let me reiterate this though. Thefood was excellent and if you want to try Moroccan food, I highly recommend it. But be prepared for the possibility that theservice may not be up to par. Read more

Very cozy and colourful. The menu is very limited. They have a belly dance show that starts around 9 pm. Parking is very hard... around there. There is a city parking lot about 1000 metres west of the restaurant. Read more

We ordered some starters and desserts, they were all tasty, but the presentation was very basic. The service was not the best,... the servers seemed impatient and increasingly stressed as more people arrived. Another point to observe is that the tables aretoo small, the food barely fit on it, the space between the tables are also restricted. Read more

The presentation was good, and our server was friendly. Hands down, the lamb has been one of the best I?ve ever had, and the... Couscous was delicious. But unfortunately, it was a slippery slope from there. The merguez was cold, and the chicken was drybut dry as if it was cafeteria food, and that?s an understatement. The veggies (carrots and zucchini) were barely cooked, almostfelt raw. The dessert was okay. I am honesty surprised by the high rating of this restaurant, and it was the reason for ustrying it. For the price you?re paying, there are better Couscous restaurants in Montreal. Read more
