I?d been here back in the 80?s where I enjoyed the best pan-fried mushrooms with seasoning I?ve had the pleasure of consuming.... Not on the menu now. The Suzy Q platter was split two ways and this was a good one. The price of beer is on the high side inCanada. Nice service from Louisa and congrats on being at this establishment around 35 years!! Really nice place to get a poutine in Montreal. My sibling and I are visiting from out of town. The diner is much bigger on the... inside. The staff was friendly, although it took a while to be seated. The poutine was really delicious and fairly priced, thethin curly fries were a nice and unique touch. Grabbed a quick bite at Mister Steer. Putting a 30 min prior to restaurant closing for the night...food came out still... amazing...proper medium burgers! Great food and hands down to service! Read more

Prices are a bit steep for what you get, but it is downtown Montreal after all. The curled fries are pretty good, and the fish... and chips was quite normal. The restaurant has a diner atmosphere. The restaurant operates bilingually. The actual building isdeep but narrow and there's quite a few tables. Read more

The curly fries are super good and the burger tasty! However it's pretty small for the price. Be warned, the patty is fat and... round in shape, so it's hard to eat as a burger. You get to choose how your patty is cooked though :) and whether you want itall dressed (tomatoes, letus and onions). Nothing special about the apple pie.
