Now this place, i have to say for the pasta lovers you HAVE to stop to pasta express on fleury. Its the only one in... montreal,very nice terrasse in a quiet residential area,friendly staff and you need and must try the 18$ special after 8pm allyou can eat pasta WOW. I am very picky with my pasta and my sauces and yet they nailed the flavour in every plate. Went there on a Saturday night, very busy. The all you can eat pasta starts at 8pm for $18 (any choice of pasta/sauce). We... chose to go with the single serving of pasta for $14 as we didn't think we could manage to finish our plate of generousportions. We were right, brought home leftovers. Everything is very tasty! Great friendly service! I noticed on anothercomment that someone found the bolognese sauce a little thin and watery, wasn't so thin in my opinion and I added the freshlygrated parmesan to the sauce and it made it extra delicious. I don't recommend visiting this place unless you want to waste your time and lose your good mood. We came to try so-called... all-you-can-eat pasta. We ordered our first choices of pasta (you cannot order your next choice of pasta until you finish yourfirst one) and waited for our meal for 45 minutes. We finished our tiny portions with pretty average taste pasta in 5 minutesand waited with empty dishes for another 10 minutes for the waitress to come. However, she still did not come so we decided toleave this place. Waiters very rarely check if everything is fine with guests, which indicates an extremely low level ofrestaurant culture in this place. Avoid this eatery if you want to have an enjoyable time. We visited the place for their all you can eat pasta. Well.. literally waited 50 min for the first degustation portion. We... decided not to waste another hour to wait for another mini portion and left. After complaining we received 30% off but stillpaid about 40$ for two super small bite-sized plates. 3.5 out of 5, the portion for the amount you pay wasn?t the greatest but still decent. I came for the unlimited pasta but... apparently it starts at 8, didn?t say that anywhere on the menu I checked online. Would?ve got a 4 but there was lipstick on myglass and the bread basket wasn?t the cleanest. Read more
Definitely Recommend the all you can eat pasta! generous quantities although dispointed on the anchovy sauce, didn't have any..... and the tuna was extra.. so for a Halal eater the choice is limited however any available sauce you can have it without meat andwithout alcohol Yay!! les serveurs sont trop gentils !!! Went here with my family and ordered the all you can eat pasta accompanied by a pizza. The food was very tasty and service was... great. Very nice and cute restaurant. The menu isn't as diverse as I expected but but they have good basic pasta with an array of... handmade pasta to choose to pair with the sauce of your choice. You can also do 1/2 pizza, 1/2 pasta. The pizzas are good, thecrust is a bit too hard for me. Pasta: The carbonara is weirdly watery, not very creamy and doesn't taste like much. Thearrabiato sauce is so good and has a very good kick to it. The chili oil also has a good kick to it and doesn't change the tasteof the dish. Calamari: Looks and tastes like storebought frozen calamari. Tastes okay, but honestly expected something morehomemade. Bread: comes out warm but quickly hardens and becomes chewy oncenit cools down.
