We were visiting the area for a concert and arrived late on a Saturday - the area was super busy and we were finding it... difficult to find somewhere that was overly fancy but still yummy. We stopped in here (not knowing what to expect) and were verypleasantly surprised! The staff were extremely friendly with us, they were quite busy but were still understanding that weweren't sure exactly how or what to order. After ordering we watched the first person in the line pull out fresh dough andprepare the base, followed by fresh (and delicious) ingredients being added. We ended up waiting a little extra because theyaccidentally overcooked the first one BUT they didn't try to serve it too us - the main chef saw that it wasn't up to hisstandards and started it over without us asking. We also added something to our past the point where we were supposed to orderand the staff were super friendly with out ignorance. On top of all this - the pizza was DELICIOUS!!! The salad was nothing towrite home about but the pizza was absolutely incredible - so much that even though we were travelling and there were lots ofplaces we could try, we stopped here again the next day and the quality and service was just as good. coming from toronto there?s a ton of pizza places, but by far, one of the best pizza places I have had! And I?ve had a lot of... pizzas! the pizza itself just droops when you pick up a slice from the weight of all the sauce, cheese and toppings and kindamy way of seeing how awesome it is! And not droopy where it?s soggy, you still get that crispy crust too! They really know howto work that thin crust! And hope you guys bring this awesome pie to toronto one day! The service was amazing! They have a highenergy feel to the pizzeria and not sure if it?s the nightlife on notre dame or the touristy feel of the street, but it justworked! And not sure if it?s a regular promo, but they have a 2 pizza promo for certain pies, at $25 which is a great price forin house made pizzas for on the go when travelling or catching some summer shows down closer to old port Great joboverall! I was looking for a place to eat lunch after visiting Notre dame basilica and found this pizza place nearby. Walked in without... much expectation. Surprisingly the pizza and salad were delicious.
