I think this is one of the best Poutine places in Montreal.... and I've been to many. The pulled pork Poutine is the best I've... had anywhere. It is a really cool little place with a neat vibe. We stopped by after a full day at the insectarium, biodome, planetarium and botanic garden so we were famished. We thought we... would each start with the small and then order more after, but the small was more than enough. The portion was very large andalso very tasty. We ordered the veg Madeleine poutine, the sloppy joe poutine and the fried pickles. The fried pickles were theexact sourness I like with excellent breading and didn?t feel too heavy, they were perfect! The veggie poutine was our favoriteof the two we ordered. They have a nice variety of poutine. Any style for any type of poutine lover. I had the Hochelaga one which contained bacon,... onions and mushroom and my s/o had the general tao because he was feeling adventurous. They were both tasty! Unfortunately it was a disappointment for us. We ordered a regular and a large size, and the large one came with almost the same... amount of cheese curds on the regular one. ???!!! Also, i found the gravy not rich enough. Better go to La Banquise on Rachelfor a much better experience. Read more
Well, after hearing about it a lot, we finally tested in two flavours and no doubt it awesome in taste and too much in quantity... Mainly because of the portion of the french fries.. We tried butter chicken and veg Madeleine. Butter chicken was very close tothe authentic taste but it's Madeleine that we linked the most because of the combination of cheese and creamy.. Definitelyrecommend Poutine Centrale. The staff is really friendly and guide thought all the varieties. Beware of the quantity, lighteaters can go for small for two people. Read more
