Background: I?ve been a customer for the last 1.5 years. Went to Boustan 1-2 times per month. Overall, I like the food. My last... experience: My girlfriend was spoken to (by the cashier) in a way which could have been interpreted as if he was her superior,in a very negative way. I?m being polite here? Can you imagine? Needless to say that I will be taking my business elsewhere. Tothe owner: I see that you read reviews etc. While this is a great practice, one could only wonder what kind of HR screeningsexist at Boustan, which allows for the aforementioned employees to interact with customers in such unmannered ways. We were a group of 6 and got there at 10 pm and they didn't let us sit down at a table because they had put all the chairs on... top of the tables already (note they close at 1 am). I suggest to either change your business hours or actually serve thecustomers who make the effort to get there. Read more
Update: after speaking to customer service, it turns out that the restaurant had made a mistake with the saj plate; it is... supposed to be two pitas cut up into small pieces, whereas I only received one. Boustan offered a small gift card as a token ofapology and assured me that they would make sure the error doesn't happen again. I appreciate the customer service, for which Iadd a third star. ------- [original review] I have to say I was really disappointed last time I came here. I ordered a sajchicken plate, only to find that the "plate" means a little bit of tabouleh and hummus -- no potatoes, no rice. That's a bitrich for a $15 plate (before tax and tip), especially given that the saj by itself would have been $8. And, no big deal, butwhen I asked for a glass of water, the person asked me to wait and said they would bring it to me; 5 minutes later I was stillwaiting, and the person was apparently busy on their phone. The chicken from the plate was very dry. The saj wrap had very little toppings and barely any chicken. The presentation was... great! Was not a fan of the flavor. The portions look ok but I was still hungry after the wrap and I can barely eat a full wrapat other places. I tried the potatoes from the plate, they were fantastic and the best part of the meal (I dont even likepotatoes but im giving all my stars to the potatoes and good customer service). The chicken on the plate looks full but it'sover a bed of half potatoes and half rice so it's just on the surface, not as much as it looks like when you first open it. Read more
Hands down the best Boustan in town. Service is 1000/100. They are very fast and effective and the food quality is far superior... than the other restaurants. The staff is amazing and will always welcome you with a happy face. Would recommend to everyone . Read more
Extremely terrible showed up for dinner literally ruined my night. The owners gave me some terrible rice and chicken and a... salad. Look like it was a cut from three days ago. Read more
