My go to spot in the city for papusas and platanos fritos. Everything is made to order and arrives piping hot. The papusas are... massive, very affordable, and served with a lovely fresh cabbage salad and salsa. The owner is hard-working and delivers anexcellent product to his devoted clientele. Went last week with hubby and ate in. On a Friday night at 7pm in little Italy and we were the inlu people in there. That should... have been a sign but we wanted to give it a chance. I came here at 1pm and was the only customer. The bread was prepared fresh but it is hard to believe that the dish itself was... prepared this week! I chose to come because of the good reviews; however, the moment I entered I got doubtful. The environmentdoes not seem clean. Great food! Authentic and great value for your money. For vegetarians, I recommend pupusas with beans and fried plantain.

I got the mixed plate (cheese enchilada and chicken taco). Huge portion, good price, reasonably fast service. Only downside is... that they put the salad on the fresh-from-the-oven plate, resulting in very hot salad. Read more
