i had a voodoo pasta that was ok, i think i should have went with the seafood option instead. The crab cake is pretty decent.... Banana Foster was the highlight, the rum was a nice touch mixed along with the butter and sugar Read more
Very charming and friendly staff. The best part were the dessert! Very big portions and delicious! My favourite was the banana... foster. I suggest trying the hush puppies or cornbread if you haven't had any before :) Read more
Service was amazing! Jess was our server she?s the best. The crab cakes were delicious so as the ribs. Extremely flavorful... would highly recommend. I was a little disappointed with the Chicken Paneed and the coconut shrimp. They were a bit bland. Read more
Good food and great service. Had a reservation for 20 but many more showed up and they accommodated us the best they could. I... had lobster gumbo with a salad and I really enjoyed it. Those that had the beef and pork ribs said they were great. Our grouphad just about everything on the menu and everyone said that they enjoyed their meals. The ambiance was really good also. Wehung around quite abit after we finished eating and they never kicked us out???? Read more

I haven?t been to La Louisiane since I was a child. I didn?t know what to expect since I don?t remember my last visit. That to... say the food was amazing. I had the paneed chicken dish and it was delicious. Along with the bread pudding for dessert.Bathrooms were also in really great condition. This is a great place for a family night or even a date! Oh how the mighty have fallen. What a disappointment. I have been going to La Louisiane for over a decade and in all this time... this has been the worst experience. Let me break it down. The food: like many places the menu has been reduced. There is stillsome of the favourites but many are not there. I ordered the blackened fish and I was only able to eat half because it was soundercooked it was practically still swimming. I ordered the lemon tort with raspberry coulees and was served the lemon tortburied under caramel. When I asked to make sure they gave us the right dessert they said they had run out of raspberry and justadded caramel (without asking if that was okay.) They also had no milk for the coffee and didn?t seem bothered by that. Service:They used to be the pinnacle of great service, now the staff doesn?t know what goes into a coffee. When they realized theymessed up the dessert they proceeded to ignore the table. I had to ask to have the table cleared and waited for over an hour forthe bill. All in all I would never go back. They have taken one of NDG?s best restaurants and turned it into a hole in the wall.Disappointing Read more
Update: still delicious and adventurous! Keep it up! Delicious food and great selection of wines. The service is always... polite and fast. Tonight, my friend didn?t enjoy her plate and they replaced it right away with another choice on the menu. Weenjoyed hot food on the terrace and delicious drinks. Overall, it was a good time. I?ll be back soon. Read more
