Visited July 10, 2022 Got butter chicken, garlic naan and chicken pakora. All the food was extremely fresh, tasty and... flavourful. The spices and sauces were very intense and enjoyable. The service was fast and the servers were very nice andfriendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
The place has beautiful ambience. Amazing photos and decor, it was fun sitting and watching each of them. For starters samosa... chaat was very good, must try. Malai kebab also good, it is not spicy as told and as we were expecting flavors were good. Formain course we ordered lamb Korma not spicy and good flavors. The biggest disappointment of the night was chicken Tikka masalawhich was sweet and not spicy at all. Breads were good Naan and roti. Read more
This restaurant is one of the best in the area (and there is a lot of competition!) I've tried many of the neighboring... restaurants and it's truly a notch above the rest. The decor is very nice, service in both languages (a rare thing on JeanTalon, usually it's only English) and the food is delicious. Tender meat, incredibly tasty curries (tried butter chicken andlamb korma), great nan bread, superb onions bhaji, fragrant biryani. I will go back again and I recommend it wholeheartedly. Read more
I?m not sure why this restaurant is rated so highly to be honest - maybe their non-veggie options are better. I had the bainghan... bharta which was quite spicy (hot) but lacked some flavour. Just felt greasy really - the portion is generous though. The naanwas very disappointing - very dry, not fluffy or chewy. Also small portion. The onion kulcha was better - more flavourful thanksto the onion and spices. Overall, I am quite disappointed as the ratings were so high. Read more

I've been twice so far and it's my new favourite place. Their tomato soup is delicious, paneer tikka, chicken pakoras and the... sauces that come with it. They also have the best mango lassi I've ever had literally, and I've had many around Montreal. It'salso Halal by the way, we spoke with the owner and he told us exactly which market he buys the meat from. Read more
