Sushi and sashimi was fresh and well presented. The price was very high for the amount of food we were given. Be prepared to pay... 100$+ per person and not be completely satiated . We did order an appetizer, a dessert and drinks on top of a platter of sashimiand nigiri to share). Maybe change your 12pcs nigiri to a 16pcs platter would be a great idea. I’m glad I came to try it buti’d rather have a full belly when leaving :) The service is attentive and it’s a nice place to go on a date. Read more

The food was tasty, and the location was “ok” (in the lobby of a condo's tower), but the service was bad. The waitress was... rude and unprofessional. This doesn’t pass and remind you that the look-like luxury ambiance is artificial. Should beimproved. Read more

We came in for a late dinner. Literally 20 min before last call on a Tuesday night. Our waiter was extremely helpful and sweet.... The music was fun. Ambiance was Gorgeous and decor was modern chic. Great place to come for a celebration. Or just if yourfeeling a little extra fancy. The moment I picked up my cup of tea I knew i was going to be an experience . The sashimi was asif it was just plucked from the sea. Only thing I would change is if they had brought out my raw food before the cook stuff.Fine dining but worth every penny. Read more

Upscale Japanese dining spot indeed. We picked Ryu for date night. Beautiful decorations, attentive staffs. All the dishes we... ordered were amazing and very fresh. It is on the pricey side, but I guess it is for high quality ingredients. Cons: music wasway too loud. Another customers politely asked if the music could be turned down a bit. Nothing really changed afterwards. Read more

Full disclosure, I'm more used to the cheaper side of the all you can eat sort of sushi places so take this with a grain of... salt. But it's easily the best sushi I've had. Just extra enough to feel fancy but not overloaded. Great drinks , super friendlyservice. It's perfect for a date night. Read more

Wonderful experience at Ryu! Just before we went to the restaurant, someone had highly recommended this place and it definitely... lived up to the expectations! We were seated at the back where there are lounge seatings and had a very warm ambiance (somepeople might find it too dark). For food - we had the oysters, 12 piece nigiri platter, 4 types of hand rolls (toro, trufflesalmon, mr maguro, and scallop truffle). All the sushi was amazingly delicious, especially the toro and scallop truffle - highlyrecommend. Server was also very nice and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience visiting from Toronto but the only thingI’ll say is that because of the high quality ingredients, the prices are very high so you have to be mindful on what you orderand you may not leave full! The experience was amazing. The interior design is very chill and classy. We started off with a drink (I totally recommend the... Ryu Sour, it was excellent!!). Then we ordered the small Tour de fruits de mer. Everything from the oysters to the sauce to thesashimis was fresh and tasteful. We also ordered the Baked Crab Handroll and the black truffe dumpling that I recommend too. They were literally melting in my mouth! As for the makis, we loved the Mr. Maguro, the Hamachi, the Ora King and the MisoBlack. The Paradise was pretty ordinary to me. They have a great selection of fresh fish and the service was very friendly andfast. It’s one of the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to. Definitely a great fancy restaurant for a celebration.
