I always prefer Second Cup over the other coffee place because they always offer fast and friendly service with a reasonable... price. Most places are clean and spacious to work or meeting up with people. Their pastries are one of the best: cheese orchocolate cake is a must try. Read more

First time I have went to a Second C in a long time, good gawd they have become pricey. Took a small cold coffee & it costed $7,... common guy?s ur things taste very basic it?s like homemade coffee. Tim?s & Starbucks are my usual go to but dunno why I made thedecision to try them that day. Had it been worth the price I wouldn?t have complained, but 7$ for a small homemade coldcoffee!!! Not great service. Missed the tea bag in my London Fog and so I went back and asked quite nicely to have it fixed. She offered... to make a new one which is great, but the second one came back stone cold. Not sure they really care about service at thislocation Read more
Staff are always fast and very polite. Keep it up!! Being nice seems to be a rare quality in staff now. Too much government... benefits and welfare have made the working class very arrogant. I'm just glad those arrogant people don't work here. Read more
The coffee was okay, the staff could?ve been nicer, they were rather negligent. Also the place itself could be cleaner, there... shouldn?t be food pieces and paper cups on the floor. Read more
I usually enjoy this cafe. Most of the staff are nice but today (November 15; 6:30 p.m.) I got such rude service from the woman... working that I deleted my original positive review. I ordered a Monster brownie and a medium coffee. You can only see theoutside of the cakes in the display counter so I asked her if she had chocolate cheesecake. She said "YES" so I paid for thethree items. I brought my coffee to my table. When I came back, the woman working handed me two plates. The monster brownie wasstale around the edges, but I ate it anyways. When I realized she had given me a chocolate layer cake rather than a chocolatecheesecake, I brought it back to the counter. She said "that is a cheesecake". I said that it was a chocolate layer cake, andI wanted a chocolate cheesecake. She starts to argue that there is creamcheese between the layers of cake. I tell her againthat I wanted a classic chocolate cheesecake. She then changes her answer to "we don't have chocolate cheesecake" and forces meto take the blueberry cheesecake. She doesn't offer a solution or a refund. I won't be coming back when she's working if I comeback at all. About $7 for s piece of cake I can't even finish. I'm disappointed. Also the padded benches need to be bolted tothe wall because they tip forward every time someone gets up which causes pain to anyone with mobility issues or backproblems. The other staff are great, but this experience was very disappointing. So rude. Read more
