Very ordinary food, nothing exceptional. Everything was really average except the two appetizer soups we got. Got charged 88$... for a plate that was featured at 44$, but had a small (per person) written. So, how is a plate 44$ for two persons if you needto order it twice to be for two persons? I ordered the general tao meal a couple days ago and the chicken is completely different from how it usually is. It was... squeaking between my teeth and pretty chewy, all of the pieces had a very uniform and square shape too which I found odd. Itkind of had the same texture as fake chicken. Pretty surprised and let down by that as it's usually my favorite meal and I'vehad it dozens of times. I hope next time I order it's the same as it was! Good pad thai. Flavourful, the right amount of spicy (but for some it might be a bit too hot), and even though the price seems... high you do get a decent portion. Clean place and nice decor. Read more
My Pad Thai was so-so . I appreciated the vegetables but i found there was too much sauce and not enough flavor. The service was... good though. I also wished they had reusable chopsticks instead of using the disposable ones that create a lot of waste. Iprobably will go back (I've been there at least 3 times already) but I'll order something else next time. Read more
Ordered some soup and other items here for pickup. While the price is very reasonable, not much can be said about the taste of... the food. It does leave you full, and has good ingredients, but I found it very bland. Read more
Sesame was good. Not great, not mediocre. Just fine. Tried a soup, edemame, a bowl, some dumpling and a fresh rolls (rice paper)... and everything tastes fresh and good. I was simply not blown away by the tastes. Although is was fresh, I found there were nodeep flavour research in the dishes. For the price, I believe Chinatown could have given be a bit more flavour and authenticity.I blame it on the chain model, you just can't push your menu to it limits if you're part of a chain. Good option for quicklunch if looking for something fresh and consistently good. Read more
