An average brunch place in my opinion. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. We had Le Classique, Sandwich and Pancakes.... The pancakes were a bit too thick. Other than that, the restaurant is charming and the ambiance was nice with a classic Americanmusic ! Read more
Quick service, nice atmosphere, and a perfectly sized menu! We got the MTL Bagel and the Breakfast sandwich ?? both were... delicious. They also had a cocktail menu which looked amazing however didn?t try any during this visit. Would recommend!! Read more
Overpriced for nothing extraordinary. Service was the only thing that was great, the rest is a futile attempt to jump into the... bandwagon of Montreal brunch scene. Please avoid if you can, they wont survive for too long if they dont pivot on theirstrategy. Read more
First experience at Sunny's Dinette for brunch. The service was great. The waitress was pleasant and the food arrived fast. The... menu is easy to understand and simplified. The atmosphere was on point. The music was from the 80s and added a nice touch to theplace. As for the food: we had the Casserole and the Avocado toast. We also had a cinnamon bun. The food was delicious andfresh. You can see the cooks preparing the food. The Casserole was very flavorful, with an emphasis on savory with some sweetcaramelized onions. The Avocado toast was quite tasty with a hint of spicy oil and flakes. The cinnamon bun had good flavor andwas not overly sweet. The prices are adequate. Only downside is that the coffee is not really to my taste, but to each their own:) Overall a very good experience and I would love to come back. Read more
Chocolate Chip Banana Pancakes with Fresh Fruits and Whipped Cream . I have to say I think I'm obssesed with restaurants on... Notre-Dame hahah????. It seems like every places I post about recently is from their. Le Bon Vivant @bonvivantmtl is absolutelyanother resto I've added to my list for sure of hotspots on this street. . The decor in this place is really nice and cozy. It'ssmaller then I originally thought it was but it makes it all the more comfortable to me. . We got two things, their GasporBurger which was in my opinion pretty good and tasty and these yummy Pancakes. I rather enjoyed them, the bananas added into themixture really reminded me of my childhood when my grandmother made banana bread with chocolate chips every weekend. The textureof the pancakes were exactly what I look for and the whipped cream and fruits added a nice fresh note to give the plate someadded zing. . I loved the experience, and the company I had trying this new spot and I can't wait to go back and try them outfor dinner one day! Read more
