My go to "fast food" sushi place. Always fresh ingredients, properly rolled, and friendly service.
Oy vey, this was bland, the rice was overcooked and really pasty. Rolls were tiny and portions of ginger and wasabi were... minuscule. The combos weren?t even labeled for price and ingredients. Feels like everything is done on the cheap. That was myfirst and last visit. Read more

So I didn?t actually eat the poke bowl yet, so I can?t comment on the flavour, but I can however comment on how comically small... the ?extras? that I paid for are. That is extra rice and extra salmon. Both came in little soy sauce containers. Rice really isnot expensive, so I don?t know why they thought this was good enough. The worst sushi experience ever in this shop on Sherbrooke, Westmount. They are not generous, we ate rice not sushi, we will... never repeat it again. I placed a big order, what they also did is pass small orders in between and made me wait much longer.The taste was not good, some rolls were smelly, my kids hated it, no fish all rice although I asked them to make it less rice.The two chefs there never listened, they just did a terrible sushi job. I didn't expect too much fun sushi shop, but what they posted at this location that all sushi would be made fresh is true. The... sushi was made fresh and tasted fresh a i got home. When I entered the store for take out, i smelled a great smell on thetempura and it did taste great. The wait was long for the food but worth it. I would order online but ubers fee i am veryagainst. There is a combo menu that is also reasonably price. However the website was not up to date as it is offering a combonot available. So sad. But this was just as good. Combo Q. Service was quick and professional; food was delicious. Only drawback: the front door wasn?t entirely closed. If I remember... correctly, it wasn?t warm on the evening I dined at the restaurant. It would have been nice to keep the front door closed tokeep the restaurant warm. Read more
