OMG some of the best mac and cheese I?ve ever had?. And I?ve tried hundreds of mac and cheeses, pretty much get it every time... it?s on a menu. The white wine was a nice touch, it even have a bit of spice to it and just sooo flavorful. Also perfectlylusciously creamy, with a crunchy caramelized cheese topping. A very pleasant surprise. We discovered this place while on a walk and we are very happy we decided to try their pies. We had... their original meat pie and meat pie with cheese. The feuilleté makes it very fun to eat compared to a pie dough. It gives anice texture. The meat filling is very tasty and the the cheese is velvety. They serve it in a paper ?container? that makes itreally easy to eat with your hands without needing a folk and knife. Being close to a park, it?s an excellent lunch option ifyou want a simple and good picnic. The grilled vegetables has a good drill taste and smell. No complains for the cole slaw. It?s very filling food so we were not able to finish the side dishes. They have fun imported drinks and some take home items. Their pies of course and some import products as well. I definitely recommend you give them a visit. The young lady serving uswas very sweet. We are definitely coming back. Read more
Ta Pies has a very unique spin on pies that are very tasty. I ordered the butter chicken and the beef with cheese. The butter... chicken was good, but beef with cheese was so much better. It had a flaky exterior that complimented the beef and cheese hiddenon the inside. Read more
Absolutely amazing space. The staff were so friendly and nice. The shop is small however it adds to the charm of being a cute... little shop with such big flavours!!! There is a cute terrace also. But most importantly......the pies were simply outstanding.Not only were the flavours amazing but the pastry was absolutely on point!!!! The cutest thing of all is how their take out hotpies are packaged. They come in these little pie holders that you can flip the edges down and eat it whilst partly in thepackage... Genius! The owners clearly know what they are doing and their passion is portrayed in their food and in their amazingstaff. Ta pies for such an awesome experience! Read more
Amazing food from New Zealand! The pie is warm and the filling is flowing. I aske the employee to recommend the most popular one... and I got this pie filled with cheese and beef. The melted cheese is flowing in my mouth, which is really satisfying. Besides,the beef is not only the beef. It is cooked nicely so the meat is so soft and the tooth can easily cut them.
