We had a wonderful elegant lunch here. So glad we went. The food was definitely up to Michelin Star standards. Montreal... currently has none but they should begin with this one. We came for lunch at 11:30 on a Friday and were given a table near the corner with tall windows looking out onto the street. Had... the champagne pairing and cantelope soup as a starter. Fabulous flavors and beautiful. Then the pasta with mushrooms, smokedsturgeon with a seafood stuffed squash blossom on top. Amazing. Dessert was house made ice cream and again, beautiful! Yes it is expensive restaurants, but the question you should be asking is: Is it worth it? And for that the answer is:... Absolutely. The food is fenomenal, the service very attentive, the ambient is contemporary and funcional. Expect some people tobe dressed up, you will be seeing shirts and ties, but don't be shy and dress smart if you want, you won't feel judged. Handsdown, the best tasting menu I've had in Canada.
