We came here for my dad's retirement party and everyone was so nice to accommodate my requests ! I asked if I can put some... decorations and they said yes, I asked if we can get bottle service like in the club (with sparkles) and they said yes. Around 30 minutes to wait for a table on a Saturday night. Hostess was nice and welcoming. Waiteress was quick, however had to... ask her for our bread, as we were not given bread. The bread comes with a sauce that’s oil and vinegar. The bread and saucedoes not taste that good. The sauce is salty and bread was crunchy. Calamari was a bit oily and not too crunchy. Basic calamari.The shrimp Alfredo was creamy however there were only 2 shrimp. The pizza was greasy. The salmon was cooked well. Our table wasnear the kitchen and we had a splendid view of the open concept kitchen. Washrooms are extremely small and are located on thefirst floor. You don't find many restaurants in downtown Montreal like Wienstein & Gavino's. Fair price, big portion, great food. They also... make their own pasta. I also wanted to thank Joe for his wonderful services today. I will come back. Read more
The pizza was EXTREMELY good! My friends and I went to Wienstein & Gavino's to celebrate our birthdays, and it was a great... choice! The place was a little packed when we arrived since we went on a Friday night, and we were 15 minutes late to ourreservation, but they seated us very quickly! The waitress was extremely kind and helpful, and the entire evening was extremelypleasant! The pizza was VERY good as well. The crust, sauce, and toppings were all very delicious! Only managed to finish 3/4of the pizza because of its size (BIG PORTIONS!)! Will definitely go back! Read more
Ordered the chicken parmigiana (Pollo Alla Parmigiana). Good portion of chicken and pasta. The cheese was superbly melted and... perfectly crispy. Very good chicken, tender, hot and very tasty. A very good balance of spices and cheese. We also enjoyed thewarm small bread and also the olive oil and vinegar while waiting for our main course. The restaurant offers a great menu and a very good variety of dishes, it will satisfy anyone. The pizzas are ok, but I think... their starters and mains are definitely their strong points. I ate the best tortellinis of my life and I had seafood fettuccine.Not to mention their atmosphere and the service are impeccable! Read more
One of our favourite dinners while visiting Montreal! Easy to book a table online and the restaurant is large enough that you... don’t have to wait. The food was incredible, we ordered the meatballs, seafood pasta, and shrimp and scallop pizza, and allthe food was to die for! The meatballs were especially delicious. The starter bread wasn’t very good, after one bite wedidn’t touch it but it wasn’t needed with the large portions of entrees.
