Conclusion the place is not recommended The place itself is not clean and needs some renovations Staff are not friendly at all... and not even helpful. I'm not into Thai food , so I've asked for staff help to guide me through the menu but the answers werenot helpful at all. The food is average, presentation is good. Portions are not good as the dishes are full of vegetables andvery small protein amount. Finally, when I've asked for the cheque I found that they have added 2.5$ as obligatory tip on eachbill while we asked for 4 seperate bills which makes a total of 9 dollars obligatory tip !! When I refused to pay the obligatorytip they asked me to clean the table !!! I had the rest of the food packed in a take out box , the waitresses threatened thatshe will take the box from me if I didn't pay the tip they asked for !!!!!! SUPER RUDE. The RUDEST Waitress and staff ever. Imagine the sign outside said they close at 2 am. (The sign with red lights,... like currency exchange signs) and I went in at 11.45pm. Nobody came to serve me. I politely asked if I could get a menu, thenthe waitress yelled at me saying "were crosed we're closed!!" I said "the sign outside mentions 2 am" she said "well it's oldsign old sign!! And the chef left!!" She yelled. I said " no need to be rude! How would I know there is no chef. And that thelight sign is old??! She didn't apologize. She gave me dirty looks and so did the owner/manager. Sigh. The SAD part is that wassupposed to be my first dinner in Montreal to celebrate 20yrs since I came to study in Canada in 2002. And wok was the firstChinese restaurant I went to 20 years ago and I was giddy happy taking photos of their restaurant to promote it in my traveljourney. And that's how disgusting g their treatment was. The food is good but the attitude and service is HORRIBLE RUDE ANDREPULSIVE. if you want polite people with good good go to ganadara in the corner of st marc and ste Catherine. ?? ?? ?? ???? Not sure if you can see that on the photo but the "beef" haswhite spots that look like pus" After one bite I threw the whole thing in the garbage. Found this gem last night. We ordered the Shrimp and Chicken Pad Thai, Thai Style Seafood Fried Rice and Szechuan Chicken. It... did not disappoint. Great quantity, one dish can easily be shared by two, amazing taste, and a cozy environment. The service wasquick and good. This is definitely my new go-to place for a quick lip-smacking Asian meal. Nice place to eat. The chefs are good and the service is good also. I agree with an earlier review that the stars should be a... little bit better. But you could see they were very heavy on take outs Apologies as I started eating before the shots. The foodis also over portioned. Two people could easily share a plate and feel satisfied. Ive had beef stew with white rice. The rice was good. Biggest issue was with the meat and the sauce. The sauce felt bland and... lacking flavors. The pieces of meat were partly consisted of inedible chunks of fat. Im still curious to try something differenton their menu. Read more
