The service was great! They were very attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. Had a family of 4 dine in on a... Thursday night with no wait. They had kid friendly food options and everything was reasonable with price. Didn't feel like I wasbeing taken advantage of at all. Would definitely come back anytime I wanted Mexican food! My cousin took me to this place and the food is just great. I had the combo chili relleno and enchiladas plate.

Wasn't a big fan of this place. The staff were friendly and attentive but the food was just whatever. I've sat outside a number... of times and have regularly been grossed out by water bugs. Can't help it. I'm a bug-phobe. Read more

Food sucks! The guacamole is water down almost looks like salsa. It was hot and the waiter looked like he just left a funeral ... , just a blank stare on his face ???? not friendly at all. I truly regret taking my Family there. I don't like to leave badreviews but They deserve it, sorry not personal. Overall bad experience wouldn't not recommend to any of my friends. Oh and theworst part the restrooms are right next to the kitchen, where your food is being made. Read more

This is one of my favorite spots for Mexican food. I came here with my husband on a Monday night for dinner at around 6 p.m.... There weren't a lot of people at that time, but after about 30 minutes, it began milling with people. The restaurant has adownstairs and upstairs portion, so though it might look small/narrow, it does have some space. If you've been to the Joselitosin Tujunga, this one seems a little smaller, less decorative, and not as extensive (or festive) menu wise. You still get yourchips and salsa. The menu isn't pages long (like the Tujunga one), but rather a long double-sided menu. The prices feltcomparable to me with both places. Another thing to note, I usually am on the lookout for deals (like margarita mondays or tacotuesdays), which the Tujunga location has and which is displayed on their sign when you enter. I didn't ask at this location, but i didn't see any such similar signage. You might want to ask when you go. :) I got the traditional tostada with chicken.the chicken is shredded. It's a corn tortilla on the bottom of the plate, topped with beans, cheese, shredded chicken, shreddedlettuce, guac, and sour cream. The tostada is huge. I opted for this instead of a salad since I wanted it to be more open faced(than a tostada bowl salad), plus I like shredded lettuce. This thing made me incredibly full! My husband got the machaca conhuevos. basically, shredded beef with eggs and peppers. This was also good, but kind of felt like any other omelette. We shareda bowl of the albondigas soup. Basically a light tomato broth w veggies and 2 meatballs. Ask for the habanero sauce. Read more

We had a lovely, quaint weeknight dinner at Joselito's. Loved the ambiance (restaurants with facades hold a special place in our... hearts) with indoor and outdoor dining available. The service was prompt and friendly; our server Lalo was great and thoughtfulenough to ask if cheese was okay when I had requested no sour cream on my amazing (GIGANTIC) veggie burrito. The portions werevery generous. Husband enjoyed his shrimp fajitas and I somehow made it halfway through my 12"x6ish" burrito before tapping outand taking the rest home. Free 3 hour parking in the public lot down the street. We'll definitely be back...Brought up memoriesof an old mom and pop Mexican restaurant in our hometown but a little less kitschy and better quality everything. Read more
