Yesterday we held a surprise birthday party in the balcony room with 17 people at this restaurant and it was amazing! This place... is stunning when you open the door to the food. We had ordered many different starters, sushi, mac and cheese, french fries,surf and turf, filet mignon, and everything was great. A lot of credit goes to the waiter we had. He didn’t mixup, forget, ormake any mistakes. People we’re moving all around the room and the waiter made sure everyone got what they ordered. He was sogreat that we were talking about it the day after and I just had to mention it. The private room was soooooo perfect for theevent. I’ll suggest this place to anyone who wants a guaranteed slam dunk on chic decor, tasty food, and true service. Read more

Great atmosphere, food and drinks but the people that work there are what keep you coming back. I have made this place my... unofficial Friday lunch spot with my friends and the bartenders are always on point and great to talk to. Fire and Oak is one of the few restaurants that consistently offers delectable appetizers and entrees accompanied with... outstanding service. Recently we dined on Tuesday enjoying a superb wedge salad, ribs and outstanding truffle fries. Ourlovely server Kylie was prompt, friendly, professional and engaging. Our experience was so enjoyable, we returned on Thursdayand were delighted with that wonderful wedge salad again, which is the best I have ever had, along with a delectable fusillipasta dish with chicken and perfectly balanced sauce, plus a Filet mignon quesadilla which was dynamite delicious! We were in the area and went here for an early dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is warm and inviting and... has an upscale/ cosmopolitan vibe. The staff are well trained and service-oriented. The menu contains an eclectic assortmentof high quality options to meet just about anyone's palate. All of the food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. Fromthe coconut shrimp appetizer to the entrees like the chicken fusilli pasta to the fish sandwich and an absolutely delishishspecial menu item of filet quesadillas. This place was awesome. The burgers and ribs were both super tasty, but the highlight for me was the pizza! Detroit style pizza,... super crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The only problem is the price of everything, but I wouldn’t knock pointsoff because the food and service is very good. Definitely check this spot out for a low key, upscale dining experience. Update on previous review- after having a great experience last year, we booked my dads 60th birthday dinner here Saturday night... for 6:30pm for 9 people. We arrived on time and our waitress was very sweet. We ordered apps and they came out extremely quickand were great. Things took a turn once our entrees came out. You could tell many items were rushed and not cooked to thequality that we had experienced previously but we were still however enjoying our time. Soon after they brought out the cake wehad brought for his birthday without warning, and then right after they brought out the check which we did not ask for and alsonever got asked if we wanted coffee or tea which was odd. We had to call the waitress back over to ask to take back the checkand ask for coffee. The vibe from the staff at this point was completely different than when we had first arrived and it wasclear they wanted us out, which is extremely frustrating when you are trying to enjoy a celebration. When we started to get upto leave they didn’t even wait for us to walk away or everyone to get up- and jumped to clear the table while we were stillthere which was very rude for the quality of restaurant they are claiming to be. As we were walking out we saw an other largeparty that seemed to be waiting to be seated. Management or the hostess making reservations should really not book tables likethis back to back as it causes both parties to have a bad experience (ours being rushed and the next party having to wait). Iwould be more understanding if it was communicated to us that we had to be out by a certain time, like a 2 hour limit that Iknow some restaurants do, but that never happened. We got there at 6:30, and walked out the door at 8:50.
