My boyfriend and I went for the first time last night to celebrate our anniversary. The service was amazing, we got seated a few... minutes before our 7:30 reservation. Our waitress, Tabitha, was amazing and super nice, and acknowledged one of us had a foodallergy and genuinely seemed to care when we brought it up. The staff there was super polite and friendly which we loved! Thefood was AMAZING! We both split an order of Antipasti to start which was great (I loved the artichoke), and the bread and butterthey give is delicious. My boyfriend did the Chicken Parm and was able to get either rigatoni or gluten free penne instead ofspaghetti, I did the Scottish Salmon. Both meals were amazing! It is a great atmosphere, food is great! It is pricey, but theexcellent quality and service you get there is well worth the price! Will definitely go back even if it's for takeout! Read more

We tried this Italian Restaurant cause a member of the hotel staff recommended it for excellent authentic Italian food. Wife and... I enjoyed garlic bread and Ballo's meatballs for an appetizer. We also enjoyed Chicken Francese and Chicken Parm for dinner.Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was very professional and courteous. We will be eating here more often whenvisiting The Mohegan Sun. Read more

Excellent menu and very fast service. I would consider coming all the way to Mohegan just for Ballo again. Our waiter was very... friendly and attentive offering great drink recommendations. Garlic bread was delicious and full of fresh grated cheese.Highlight recommend trying the mushroom gnocchi and spicy rigatoni. You will leave so full! Read more

Had dinner reservations here last Saturday night before the Kane Brown concert and we were all seated upon arrival after... checking in with the hostess. The atmosphere was romantic with dimmed lighting. The soaring arches and high ceilings with theold world touch made me feel like I was in Italy, the ambiance was perfect. I had The Empress's New Clothes (Gin cocktail) thatwas juicy, not dry and very good (had two). For appetizers I tried the meatballs and the burrata plate. For my entree I orderedone of the featured specials but did feel for the price $55+ it wasn't worth it. It was lacking in quantity and weight ofseafood. It was one split tail lobster that had just about one tablespoon of lobster meat and the shrimp was miniature. Theother meat and salmon entrees at the table looked good but I would get something else next time for sure. My meal was flavorfulbecause of the pasta and cream sauce but didn't deliver that "special" feeling of ordering a seafood based dish. Our serverDarrien was really great and attentive to dietary restrictions at the table. I enjoyed the overall experience. Read more

I love the food here. I was greeted by Kaci, the manager. We sat up front and there was a lively crowd at the bar cheering on... the football game. Bread and a nice garlic bread appetizer came over. Our server had a restaurant week menu. I did that menuwith salad, entree and 2 canollis. The chicken was fork cutting tender and loved the veggies. The best part is always dessert! These are the best canolis. Read more

Ballo Italian restaurant inside the Mohegan Sun is a beautiful spaces and stylish restaurant! They offer limited gluten free... food options, including gluten free pasta. Unfortunately they don’t have any gluten free brand that would be a great additionfor an Italian restaurant. The portion’s size were generous and the food was tasty. Read more
