My husband and I decided to try this place on a whim and we are so glad we did. As appetizers we ordered crab and cheese wontons... and Chinese egg rolls. Then for our entrees I ordered the Beef Basil and he ordered the Black Pepper Beef. We loved it all!Everything was fresh and super delicious. Well, I"m from Chicago and in my opinion there's only one Chinese Restaurant in Chicago that remotely comes close to authentic... Chinese food. Once coming to Oriental Pearl about 3 years ago, I just couldn't get the taste of the food out of my mind. To saythat it's delicious is an understatement. I didn't even want to eat the Chinese food from Chicago anymore. The food is preparedintricately and the taste is unparalleled. This is very good restaurant. With reasonable prices you can enjoy good Asian foods! Chinese,Vietnamese, Thailand foods and... Japan!! You can choose from various tastes! Especially lunch plates are served with appetizer salad and soup. Main rice withmeats are super delicious. Finally they serve completely fortune cookie.
