My son and I had a fantastic late night, post-soccer match meal here Thursday evening. At some places, the service and food... quality may suffer for those wanting fresh-tasting food at 9pm, and closing time is 10...neither was this case at thisestablishment! Our waitress was attentive, friendly and full of energy, and the food matched her outstanding service. I had theFish and Chips (pictured) and my son had the grilled chicken sandwich...both of us were very pleased. Give this place a shot ifin the Mooresville area...even if it's close to closing time! This place is really good. Definitely a busy popular spot on a Saturday night. The server we had was great. She even had a... wonderful recovery when the kitchen torched one of our steaks. Check out that crab ragoon dip. It is definitely worth orderingif you like crab ragoons. All in all I'd definitely recommend this place. A true little gem in a small town with big flavors. The staff was attentive and friendly. Everything we've tried here has been... outstanding. We'll keep coming back to try it all. Even something so simple, like mashed potatoes were well above average.Unique appetizers as well, I believe they offer a smaller size as a Happy Hour type special, but don't quote me. Head south(west) to Ralph & Ava's Kitchen & Bar in Mooresville. We've been three times and the food is amazing. They've... re-opened after the storm under new ownership and is a true culinary experience. Wanted to try something new and we found this little gem. We learned it was recently acquired by new owners, but the reviews... were good so we gave it a shot. I'm so glad we did. Our server Shelby was really nice and helpful, and our food was excellent! Ihad the pork chop which was perfectly cooked, and he had fish and chips. Said the curry tartar sauce was one of his favoritetartar sauces! The creme brulee was delicious and a good sized portion. We thought it was a nice touch to have an option to buythe kitchen a round of drinks too (we did) for their hard work. It's not far from home so we will definitely be returning and weare looking forward to trying some other meals. Read more
Very good Service, excellent food & bar drinks. We had the onion soup, Grilled Chicken sandwich, Cali Smash Burger & 2 orders... of the Half Chicken dinner. Most recent visit we had the Tenderloin, (grilled), and the Salmon with mashed potatoes &asparagus. Both were very good. Soup was excellent, the Sandwiches had great flavoring and fresh ingredients and the HalfChicken dinners were terrific. All good choices for our 1st time since the old owners sold the business. The Bloody Mary'swere very good as well. We will definitely return soon to try other menu items. Read more
