Comfy, relaxing & affordable, Captain's Galley is a clean, cheerful & very affordable spot for some homestyle seafood, chicken... or burgers. There used to be so many more of these family-style restaurants that offered simple, wholesome meals at prices thatmade taking the whole family out a welcome possibility. Think HoJo's, Perkins, The Salt Shaker with a slight predominance offish & seafood dishes. The wait staff were friendly and watchful, leaving an entire pitcher of iced water for us to refill atour leisure. We were presented a plentiful bowl of hush puppies as we were seated, and they were delicious. Special pricing forthe lunch menu makes a visit even more appealing.
