I?d like to first say we?ve eaten here a bunch of times and the pizza is great, but tonight I had a very bizarre and bad... experience with the staff that I feel compelled to share. I placed a to-go order at about 7:15pm for two pizzas. Girl on thephone was friendly and said give them about 25 minutes. I show up at 7:40 and there?s a sign on the door that says ?store closesat 8:30.? I go to open the door and it?s locked. I knocked on the door, called repeatedly, could see employees inside buzzingaround but nobody would answer the phone or the door. After standing there for about ten minutes, a young couple came up towalk in and I told them the door is locked and nobody will open it or answer the phone. The guy said ?a buddy of mine workshere, let me call him.? A few seconds later a young employee comes and opens the door and I said ?your door is locked? and hesaid ?yeah sorry.? I walk in and there are two women sitting there waiting for their order and they said ?they had the doorlocked and we had to beat on it too - we?re just trying to get our to go order.? When I walked up to the counter a femaleemployee looked at the guy who opened the door and held her hands up like ?why did you do that?? To which I said ?I placed a togo order?can I have it or not?? She whipped her head around and walked away. The young guy who unlocked the door checked me outand I left. I fully understand that employees don?t want to stay past closing time, but it was almost an hour prior to closingAND they accepted my to-go order but didn?t want to let me in to get it. I ordered a pizza with grilled chicken and tomatoes, light cheese and sauce which is all options on there web site. I got pizza... with tomatoes on one side and chicken on the other which I ordered online So I go to pick up and I'm guessing the manager who'ssitting at the end of the bar drinking beer doesn't know what a online order looks like, actually questioned whether it was aonline or call in order, what a joke, definitely wouldn't recommend Read more

Our first time ordering from Johnny Brusco?s. The order process could have been better. I ordered over the phone and 30 mins... later my husband went there to pickup up only to learn there was a mixup with the order slip not reaching the kitchen causinghim to wait another 30 mins. We had the Gourmet Pizza. The crust was very good, toppings of spinach, sun dried tomatoes, blackolives, artichoke hearts & feta were delicious. We Walked in at 7:55 pm and were seated outside. Perfect weather. Ordered chicken pizza with pepper and onions. It was the BEST... CRUST I?VE ever HAD. The mozzarella was so fresh. The crust was crisp to the last bite which is not always the case when morethan one item is on a pizza. My Greek salad had lots of olives all without pits. Fresh and crisp iceberg lettuce with cherrytomatoes and lots of fresh feta. The Cabernet was so so but overall we would happily return to try more entrees here. Excellent customer service and the food was phenomenal! We were here for lunch today and the two men working were so pleasant to... talk to and they were so cohesive! My family comes here once a month and this was the first time we?ve ever seen only twoemployees in a restaurant but they handled it so well. We really admired their work ethic and it was kind of a little show tosee them perfectly juggle 8 tables during lunch rush; they didn?t even look like they were struggling they were just so perfectat the 5 different roles, they were covering. Whoever is signing their checks I hope you see this and give them a generous raisebecause these two men are seriously carrying your store. I don?t know if I mentioned but the wait time was like less than 15minutes for everything and the presentation was *chefs kiss* beautiful. 100/10 I recommend this restaurant any day of the weekbut after the service we received today prompted me to write a raving review. Since we are new to the area we hadn't had the pleasure of driving near this restaurant. I actually learned about it off the... Restaurant.com website and took a peek at the menu and it all looked really good! Today I called in to confirm I could use acouple of Restaurant.com certificates and I was advised I could. I decided to go on their website and join their rewardsprogram. Good thing I did as it earned us a FREE order of garlic knots! I quickly gathered up everyone's food order and calledright back. I spoke to Makenzie (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and she was super sweet and helpful. We rushed over to pick up ourorder and drove back home with the delicious smell of their food. I ordered the Lasagna which came with a garden salad and sideof bread. My mother in law ordered the eggplant rollatini which also came with a garden salad and side of bread. My husbandordered the Johnny's deluxe calzone. Our oldest ordered a medium sized meat deluxe pizza and our youngest ordered a chickenbacon ranch wrap (no ranch & no cheese, she's picky). To share we got mild wings, cheese bresdsticks and fried ravioli. Wow wowwow! It was all so so good! This did not disappoint!
