I ordered the Shrimp tacos and the shrimp weren't "cleaned" (deveined). This is just not ok for me and makes me wonder what... other shortcuts they take in the kitchen. The rest of the food was fine but I couldn't eat the thing I ordered so my husbandshared his food with me. The menu also listed corn tortillas and they were more like premade flour tortillas so that was adisappointment too. The service was satisfactory (and its not the servers fault the food wasn't prepared well). All in all not agreat dining experience and I'd heard good things so I was definitely disappointed ????. The food is absolutely delicious!! And we have had many different things on the menu. The staff is so friendly and the food... comes out fast! The servers are always checking on you and refilling your drinks. And the atmosphere is also great and a verynice outdoor seating area! If you haven't tried it you definitely need too! Read more
This place is named appropriately and their reviews definitely need a bump up! Their food is delicious, but they won us over... with their margaritas and their entire staff really. They are always so friendly and fun. We go fairly regularly so we see a lotof the same people and they ALWAYS come out to say hi and chat with us even if they aren't on our table. We always feel welcomeand taken care of. So much so that we bring friends in town visiting here because it's always a good time. Let me start by saying that Mexican food is not on the top of my list. Stopped in the day before Cinco de Mayo to give it a try.... The restaurant is small, everyone was very friendly. Free chips and salsa were the sturdy yellow corn style and freshly fried. Ihad the chimichanga with ground beef. I really liked the white cheese sauce topping.and the beef was well seasoned. I wouldprobably add a star if I frequented other Mexican restaurants and had a better comparison. Definitely worth a try. Read more
I don?t know how we are at 4.3 stars here. I would show a pic of my shrimp tacos but they have been devoured. OMG they are the... best I?ve had in a long time. Had dinner with three friends on a Sunday night and were immediately seated. Ok, we are a bunch of old people and came early... before Thanksgiving so ymmv. The chips were good but the salsa was a bit tame for someone from Texas. The La Tradicionalmargarita was great! Pretty strong too. So that was all good. I went with the Enchiladas Mole with chicken. I always love molesauce so this did me well. Very tasty. Rice and beans were standard Tex-Mex industrial restaurant fare. The only down side wasthe music was ridiculously loud. We're all hard of hearing anyway, so talking loudly wasn't a problem. But early on a Sunday itseemed a bit much. Read more
