I 1st had the waitress to being me a cloth, I mean rag.. ( it had several holes in it), I cleaned our table. It had crumbs on... it & it had sticky places on it. This place was nasty. The walls were nasty... around the containers was in need of some seriouscleaning! had (black ??) build up around the food areas. You could tell it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Even the child's highchair had food caked up the corners of the tray. We were in there about 10:30 A.M. My bacon was over cooked. Waitress putanother order in. Again, it was over cooked. My husband's sausage was put into his omlete, so the waitress brought him anotherorder. I brought some of the food home & threw it away, and I like Waffle House's food. I?ve always went here and it?s always been great fast service and great customer service. Yesterday we came in at around 10pm as... a group of 5. Server took our drinks literally took 15 minutes to just give us them, then we brought them and didn?t even takeour order. She walked away and took the order of some people that got there after us and while we were still waiting on her tocome take our order, we waited about 30+ mins while she helped everyone else before us. When I asked her why she helped everyonewho got there after us, before us. She said ?because you guys were not all sitting down, when only one of the guys had got up touse the restroom? assuming as if we didn?t know what we wanted already 30 mins in. I was very upset with her service, she thentook my order in which I ordered for everyone I made that clear. 15 mins later she comes out with one plate. I explain I wanted5 meals not one meal??? As there was 5 of us???? That was the last straw. That was unacceptable and so disrespectful I made itclear it was 5 meals and she had the audacity to bring 1 after waiting those 40 minutes for food. The absolute worse Waffle House my fiancé and I have ever been to. They literally had 2 booths full and 3-4 at the counter. We... were told we could only sit at the bar. There was literally a booth open next to the bar and the lady wouldn?t allow us to useit. The left side of the restaurant was completely empty and we were still not allowed to choose our own seats. I won?t describethe lady on this review but she is RUDE and needs to be trained again on customer service. An absolutely excellent Waffle House! I've literally eaten in dozens of different Waffle Houses and the food is usually really... good. Their formula works and the test of time is the deciding vote. This one, however, is right near the top of them all.Friendly and polite servers; a smile costs nothing and is worth so much. My meal? Perfect. I asked for extra crispy hash browns,eggs medium with sausage patties and raisin toast. The cook paid attention and it was a wonderful start to the day. This is astop I'll certainly make again! My all star breakfast waffle was raw on the inside. I told them about it and they gave a half hearted apology. I was a bit sick... soon after probably from the waffle. Surprising cause waffle house generally had consistently decently food before this. Read more
