Other than the washroom, this place was fabulous today. The signs ask truckers to use the truckstop washroom, and that would... help a bit, but the truckers need access to more toilets in that area because if someone is showering it dominates the toiletsavailable. The restaurant shares washroom with the convenience store too so it needs better facilities as well. Read more

The Resturant customer service is great! Though they appear a bit understaffed and the table servers are juggling a lot of... patrons ... and the do it very well in a courteous and friendly manner. The food is very good and servings are generous. It isalso part of a truck stop and a lot of the customers are truck divers or families travelling. So the service is relatively quickand meals are typically fresh and hot! One serious concern is the state of the washrooms ... which are shared with the gasstation. They are in terrible condition, filthy and poorly maintained! If you can possibly wait ... use the restrooms at thenext truck stop (next door). Do not let your children use the washroom. (Yes .. it is that bad!) Bottom line ... greatRestaurant .. bad washroom facilities. I suspect that is because they are shared with the gas station and no one is takingresponsibility for the maintenance, custodial services and routine housekeeping! Read more

Service wasn't the greatest. Never even asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks. Food was sub par, very different then other... smittys we've been too. Menus aren't correct especially when it comes to kids deserts etc. Ordered a caeser and could hear thelady yelling how to make it and she kept saying we don't have that over and over, she finally came out with what looked likepure clamato and vodka. Best beef patty i ever had in Canada !! I ordered soup before, but if i'd known they serve almost a whole cow i would have... skipped the soup !! Soup, coffee and a platter, plus a full refill and i payed only 17C$ and i added a tip. Cant give 6 starsotherwise i would! Just great place!! Read more
